Let's say we're married
10 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
So in this episode, Booth and Brennan have to travel back to her old high school so they can solve a murder. In order to find out who did it, Booth thinks they should go undercover - as husband and wife!

This is significant since it's done right after the episode where they finally admit to their feelings. They talk about how difficult this case could be with what had just happened. Booth's feelings for Brennan are so strong that he doesn't think he can even dance with her...and he states that "we both agreed not to..." That's untrue - Booth wanted it, but Brennan rejected him!

I found it interesting that they used terms of endearment during this episode when all the years they've been together, I don't recall once that they used one single term of endearment on the other - I always find that rather odd...

Then there's the whole Angela/Wendell/Jack thing. I like all three of these people, but personally there's only one couple here. We know who that is, and thankfully we won't have to wait much longer for that to happen! One of my favorite scenes is when Jack spills the beans and runs to Angela to apologize in advance...

So sad!
9 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of my favorite episodes. Not only do Booth and Brennan tell about their first meeting, which explains a lot about their relationship; but we watch Booth take a big step in the direction of deepening their relationship.

At the end of this episode, Booth makes an awesome move and an awesome speech. Brennan's reason for rejecting him is heart-breaking and totally Brennan. We watch as they both admit how they feel about the other, but watch one of them deny the happiness they could have together. Both are crying at the end of the episode, and so am I!

Aside from that, it was awesome seeing Zack Addy once again.

This episode turns things - first for the worse, then for the better.

Bizarre...
4 August 2016
The main story is about a couple that are found in a burning bed. The whole thing is a bit strange.

Booth's grandfather (Daddy Walton) has arrived in town. Booth is happy, but Brennan believes he will have trouble taking care of Pops. She becomes close to him and helps Booth take care of him (the whole thing was very domestic and very sweet). Pops tells Brennan about Booth's past and asks her to hell Booth when the time is right and "to hold him."

In the end, Pops returns to the care facility because he loves Booth. He wants nothing more to see Booth and Brennan together.

I can relate.

A problem solved
4 August 2016
Love seeing Gordon Gordon! Everyone has such a good rapport with him. Angela and he like to assess Booth and Brennan's relationship. Gordon and Sweets evaluate the relationship from another angle, and they all come to the same conclusion involving Booth and Brennan. Of course, we don't need Gordon's affirmation to know what we've known since Season 1!

Booth also admits to something big in this episode, and it's proved in the last scene. We are getting so much closer, yet it still seems so far away!

Oh, and the main story: it's another age-old money and greed Biblical story.

What Booth would do
4 August 2016
The main story in this episode is about a man found and brought into the lab by a group of girls. It turns out that the man works in a chicken farm. The reason for his death is an old one.

Angle, still going without sex, is becoming sentimental. When she starts researching the cruel murder of chickens, she decides to save a pig. This causes a big argument between Angela and the ever-logical Brennan. Brennan goes to Booth for advice who declares he would do anything for her. "I would die for you and I would kill for you." But he wouldn't get between two best friends. As Brennan starts to leave, still upset, it hurts Booth so much that he takes her hand and promises everything would be okay.

Later, Booth goes back on his word and gives Brennan a piece of advice that she, of course, follows.

The scenes between Booth and Brennan in the restaurant were just sweet and romantic, as usual.

Angela ends her months of celibacy with a surprising person.

Romance is in the air again
2 August 2016
Though I found the mummy story a bit dull, I thought there were some really good parts to this show.

I loved how Brennan lost her stiff personality in the lab and became so excited that she and Daisy acted alike. Jack and Angelia gave her strange looks.

Daisy and Lance are always fun to watch. We see their relationship climb to a new level in this episode. Lance is just comical, and the scene in the Egyptian room near the end is funny.

Then there is Brennan and Booth. The egg thing was PRECELESS!!! I loved that verbal/non-verbal communication scene in Brennan's office. Then later, they have a romantic scene in the museum. The almost, but not quite, thing that could have happened...I'm not sure Brennan was ready for that yet...

I love you
31 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Booth is finally able to say that he loves Brennan. But...

After four years of everyone knowing it - I mean, the whole office and especially Sweets...Now they are saying that he may not really love her? That confused me!

I understand why the writers had such a hard time actually putting these two together. That's what's keeping the show alive. Fans come back watching just for that reason. I've watched many shows (Who's the Boss comes to mind) where the show simply goes away once our need for the romance to come actually happens. It's sort of like - there's nothing left.

But...and here's the spoiler...I think the show was great once they got together up to a point. Once they were married, the writer's/directors/whoever seemed to say "old married couple - we no longer have to show them in love. That was unfortunate.

I believe that this episode is the only episode in all the eleven seasons where Booth actually uses a term of endearment for Brennan. In all the time they are together as a couple, you never hear "Honey, Sweetheart, Baby..." Here, as he holds Brennan while she's bleeding, he calls her "Baby." That's disappointing that Bones is his affectionate word for her even after they are married...

The ending was a big disappointment. Booth chickened out and changed what he was going to say. I was very disappointed in the man!

Booth and Brennan together
31 July 2016
This is an alternate reality episode. Rather it's coming from Brennan or Booth or both, it's unclear. What is clear is that they both have deep feelings for each other.

For four years, the fans of Bones have been watching Booth and Brennan tip toe around their love for each other. The fans are given a trip with a "What if" episode. Booth and Brennan are married and own a night club. All the cast is there, but mixed up in roles. I found it interesting of who chose to be the bad guy - and can see either Booth or Brennan coming to this conclusion...

We've been waiting for these two to kiss ever since the Christmas episode in Season 3. Well, we got it!

More evolving
31 July 2016
I'm going to have to give this a ten simply for the Booth/Brennan story line. We see them take another big step toward becoming a couple. Brennan doesn't only recognize the fact that she does want to be a mother (after denying it thus far), but she declares there's only one man who can be the father of her child: Booth. Digging deeper, I'm guessing that it is symbolic of the fact that Brennan is in love with Booth but due to lack of feeling loved in her past, she doesn't recognize this yet. Everyone else does (Even Booth, in my opinion), and tries to stop what she wants to do from happening.

At the end, Booth has another vision, and it scares Brennan so badly that she drags him of of the middle of an interrogation and right to the hospital. Love is written all over her face, and Booth is very uncomfortable until Brennan shows up at his side at the end of the episode.

Anyone who says they aren't in love is crazy!

Silly and Funny
30 July 2016
This is a silly episode that kept me laughing. When Brennan pays her respects to a dead co-worker, she accidentally touches him and immediately determines he was murdered. (Only Brennan!) Through this episode, the gang must investigate without letting the funeral guests know what's going on.

There are a lot of funny scenes here. Probably my favorite was Booth leading the group of mourners in a very chipper song.

At the end of this episode, Booth and Brennan have a morbid, yet cute, scene where they discuss what to do if Booth dies.

They all did a great acting job!

Some good parts
30 July 2016
Though I'm not a fan o f the rock band story line, there were some aspects in this episode that I found endearing.

Gordon Gordon is back, and he and Sweets meet to have a discussion about Booth and Brennan. Gordon makes an interesting observation of Booth and Brennan (one knows they love the other, but the other is clueless).

Sweets' past is also revealed. Brennan mentions what she saw, then Gordon Gordon figures the rest out, informing Sweets then Booth.

The closing scene is my favorite of the episode - A very touching and telling scene between Booth and Brennan where Sweets comes to a conclusion. I watched it twice, and saw what he saw. It's revealed in Season 5.

On love
29 July 2016
We watch Brennan learn a few things about love. As a woman's body is found in smashed cardboard, Booth and Brennan join the rest of the team to find out who did the deed. It leads Brennan on a quest to examine her thoughts on love. When she and Booth see Daisy at a bridal shop trying on a dress, they conclude she's cheating on her fiancé with Sweets.

After watching the show all the way through, it's interesting to go back and watch these to see how far Brennan has come. She is still not able to recognize love (though we know she's probably been in love with Booth for years). She fights with her beliefs and declares she would never marry.

At the end, Brennan has a moment with Booth where she admits to wanting that connection to another person. Booth assures her it would happen to her someday...

Good man
28 July 2016
Booth is a good man.

When a teenage girl is found murdered, it's soon learned that not only was she pregnant, but so were several of her volleyball friends. It's discovered that one man, a very unlikely "stud" is found to be the father of several. As Booth and Brennan try to discover the truth, they learn some hard things about this pregnancy outbreak and Clinton.

We also meet the intern, the Muslum (sorry, I don't know how to spell his name). His story develops over the years and he becomes an important part of the show in later seasons (though I never really cared for that particular story line).

At the end, Booth does a "man up" speech that's very touching. I can picture him having such talks with his children when they do wrong. He has the right tone and facial expression to keep them on the straight and narrow. I think Brennan's very proud of him.

Disappearing Body
27 July 2016
After a body is discovered, the members of the team must figure out who and what happened to the poor man before his body disappears. Booth and Brennan work hard to discover just who is responsible.

There is a strange monkey that seems to live on a person's head, and Booth is enjoying his boy toys with a fancy car (a very funny non-couple moment at the end involves said car).

The lap dancing was a little too much for me...It was gross, especially since Brennan was all excited about watching this happen to Booth and I was a little grossed out with the TMI at the end of the scene.

Overall, a good episodes if a couple parts were taken out.

Good and Bad
26 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This is the second episode involving the Gravedigger, and the second episode involving Booth's brother. Evidence has gone missing, and there are only three people left from the original story who could have taken it. The Gravedigger kidnaps Booth until said evidence is returned.

Things I liked:

Brennan gets to save Booth There's a hung involved int he reunion The storyline is okay, yet creepy

Things I don't like: The ghost. It's so not Booth, and worse - in a later episode, Brennan easily explains it, BUT since she also so the ghost, there's a flaw in her logic.

Jack's stealing evidence: He got in no trouble for this.

Jarod's punishment: Yet, Jarrod was severely punished.

Cute couple!
26 July 2016
This was another great episode. Hockey is a little too violent for my taste, and I don't like seeing Booth beat up on people, but the story was great.

A hockey player Booth beats up after he beat up on two of Booth's teammates is found dead, probably killed around the same time as the fight. So Booth takes himself off the case and works with another agent to solve the case, because Bones will work with no one but Booth. It was an interesting story which led to an interesting conclusion.

There's a pretty romantic scene at the end where Booth and Brennan skate together on the ice. Brennan gets pretty mushy with Booth, who promises her he'll never let her fall "on or off the ice."

You can't help but to love them!

Do it for me
25 July 2016
This episode is about a military man - turned - Nanny who gets killed. Several people are looked at for this, but the person that did the killing may be shocking and very, very sad.

Brennan is upset when she discovers her father is working at the Jeffersonian. She asks Cam to fire him, then does so herself. Her father uses some interesting tactics to get Booth to talk to her. How does Booth approach this?

"Do it for me."

We know that anytime those words are uttered from Booth or Brennan, it gets done.

We also get to watch Parker. I wish he could have been in the show more.

Hourglass
24 July 2016
They are on a plane, and if they land somebody will get away with murder, lost in a land with billions of people where they may never be found! Yep, it seems Booth and Brennan can go nowhere without getting involved in murder - like when they find the woman in the oven. The first time I watched this episode, I was shocked at the person who was guilty.

The references about them being a couple are getting more and more frequent. They are accused of such twice, and still in deep denial, though we know they have been a couple for several years now...

I have a lot of favorite scenes in this episode. I will name two: 1. When Booth is making the arrest and trying to do so before the plane touches down. He does it quickly and adds '...because this is the United States of America!" Then everyone starts clapping. Very dramatic!

2. When Brennan's wearing the glasses, Booth is taken aback and gets very, very flirty with her. I thought he was going to kiss her!

Excellent episode!

The better Booth
24 July 2016
This was another great episode. The crime story itself was a bit confusing, but I think that's because I was so focused on the rest.

Booth's younger brother is introduced in this episode. Jared needs a good dose of reality, but Booth has always taken care of him and sacrifices much to do so. Brennan begins to think that Booth is a loser (quite harsh, if you ask me); but is soon set straight on a few things. She and Booth have their first real fight, which causes a wedge between them through part of the episode. Brennan's eyes are opened, then she opens Booth's.

They make up over a piece of cake.

This was another sweet episode, though I was a bit disappointed in Brennan.

Jail break
23 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is about a young OCD man who's body was cut into 12...er...13 pieces and tossed in a pool of water. The team works hard to figure out who did this. The answer is really very shocking. It takes a special person to find out the truth.

Zack appears in this episode (and one more after this at the end of the season). Jack helps Zack by asking him to look over the evidence and see if he can figure anything out. Booth is not happy to see Zack. I suspect Booth is still mad that he broke Brennan's heart, but that's just what I suspect...Whatever the case, he makes a big confession that could change his life, but he swears Sweets to keep it secret. Sweets, as far as I know, took it to the grave with him.

Booth is on a protective kick for Dr. Brennan (which could be another reason he was so rude to Zack). He jumps in to defend her several times, and she puts him in his place quite well. At the end, they help each other out - it was sweet.

Bones has a boyfriend
22 July 2016
It's always fun to watch Booth when Brennan has a boyfriend. He is so jealous, it's funny. In this episode, Brennan has two boyfriends - one for physical satisfaction, and the other for intellectual satisfaction. Booth doesn't like either one. He enjoys when the two boyfriends meet, but the episode ends with a very enduring scene at the end that makes Sweets very, very happy. Yep, everyone knows what's going on!

We also meet Intern, Daisy. Daisy continues to be on the show in the eleventh season. In this episode, she is quite annoying, as are most of the interns in the beginning. She and Sweets connect right off and will continue to throughout the show.

Booth hates England
22 July 2016
While Brennan adjusts well in England, Booth has a lot of issues. He doesn't understand a lot of the sayings, he has a lot of trouble driving, and he surely doesn't like the fact that the good anthropologist is trying to get Brennan to sleep with him! But he does his best to deal as they work together to find out who killed an American girl - and why.

Meanwhile, back at the lab, Angela's husband shows up. She and Jack ask him for a divorce, but he is still in love with Angela!

This is a rather humorous episode, followed by a finale that ended on a very tragic side. Everyone has adjusted, and we'll soon get to meet the interns that can't really take Zack's place, but try.

Mixed Fellings
21 July 2016
First of all, I was not happy with the way this episode began. I don't think Brennan would have been easily convinced that Booth was dead. She would have needed solid proof - and would have, in fact, been at the hospital with him. I didn't like her lack of emotion when she thought he was dead.

BUT the aftermath - her slapping Booth was priceless! I loved when she barged into his bathroom to tell him off as well, and the fact that she threatened Sweets with Booth if he tried to play them again...

The main issue in this is: who is Gormagan? We find out int his episode, but we also find out who the apprentice is...

When getting rid of a main character, it's better for them to move on or die then what the writer's did. Zack did give me the creeps at times, but I just could not see this as truth...

Of course, Booth helped Brennan in the end with yet another touching scene.

Booth is totally in love!!!
21 July 2016
this is one of the best episodes of Season 3 - mainly because of the last five minutes of the episode!

It's rare we get to see the victim before they die. I wish we could see that more often - kinda adds a tragic element to the story. As usual, the episode takes several twists before revealing the killer - sort of odd...

I loved watching Booth while Brennan was singing. It was so into her during that song. Everyone watching him - then watching the very end as Brennan cried - knew...I loved the way Jack took charge and Angela stood in shock staring...The whole scene was very well done, but I just cannot get over watching Booth!!!

Why are these two not together?!

Baby time!
20 July 2016
Another excellent episode! Though it's realistic that an FBI agent would be conducting his investigation while carrying around a baby, there are some pretty precious scenes in this episode. Brennan finds her maternal side, and Booth shows his (LOVE IT)!

Booth and Brennan are actually discussing having children at the end of this episode. Not necessarily together, but it still sounds pretty awesome. Booth then starts talking about what Brennan can do with her money - and he shows his childish side.

There's also a very touching episode where Booth makes Brennan stay in the car with a promise that she'll think about the baby - not him. It's obvious they know the other has deep feelings for the other, and Booth convinces her to set her feelings for him aside to protect the baby.

Very sweet!
