Swingers (2002)
Don't be mislead!
I saw this film during the Dutch Filmfestival at Utrecht. Although many people were sceptic for a Dutch film containing nudity, the outcome surprised everyone I spoke to. Acting is more than fine, it's excellent. Dialog is smart and to the point. Visually it's fine. The music is great. Actually, this is one of the most honest films about sex I've ever seen. It's a great discussion-starter. Please don't get mislead by the frustration of the other comments. Go see it with a date!

De stilte van het naderen (2000)
A fine film with convincing acting
When Jules Brasschaert, convicted and jailed for a crime he has committed several years ago, is pardoned he is a changed man. He found his peace with the help of his belief in God.
After a chance meeting with this man Susan burns her bridges to be with him. As it turns out she is to redeem herself of a childhood trauma.
While this is going on, Susan's fiancee is losing grips on his steady and well planned life and shows his true face.
Although the script is not perfect, I found myself attached to the characters. Every time I thought: 'why is she doing this?' or I thought of a flaw in the story, it took the film less then a minute to give the answer, or it made me accept the flaw.
The actors did a good job convincing me of their needs and personalities. I found this film to be a very cinematic one. Much more then most Dutch features aired on television. I gave it a 8/10.
