The Chosen (2017)
If you want to watch a TV series about Jesus that immerses you in His life and that of His apostles, this is the series to watch
Movies really do not do justice to the life of the Messiah. Watching it in a TV series format helps you to focus at a couple of scenes in the life of Jesus at a time so you get as much time to think about what you have watched, get to know Jesus more or His disciples more, and make that connection with your personal spiritual life.
I never get to tired of watching episodes from the series. And I use them to help share the faith by sharing and talking about the TV series to anyone interested to listen.
God is truly great. And He has used Dallas Jenkins and his crew to reach out to this generation in the best way they can relate to: through a TV series.
Looking forward to more well done episodes.
God bless you, Dallas, and all of the cast and crew of The Chosen.
Detektiv Downs (2013)
Detektiv Downs: Champion Detective
Watched this while on lockdown due to CoVid19. I was bored, I wanted to watch something that was different. Well this is different. A detective (or so he thinks) with down's syndrome.
Without giving any spoilers, if you're looking for a movie that will inspire you to do your best, not to worry that you're not like everyone else (meaning you're strangely unique or different than everyone else), and a movie that delivers a feel good ending, this is the movie to watch.
It's in Norwegian but they have good English subtitles so don't worry.
The Last Word (2017)
Mistakes Make You
Everyone wants to leave behind a legacy and sometimes we need people like Harriet in the movie to challenge us and help us believe in ourselves that we can still live a better life and achieve our true potential.
At the end of our lives, the best legacy we can leave is when we have touched someone in a way that makes them want to live their best life in honor of your memory.
