Solar Opposites (2020)
SOLAR OPPOSITES IS NOT RICK AND MORTY!
Let's address the elephant in the room first... This show has nothing to do with Rick and Morty... Okay, yeah, they have the same writer, kind of humor and animation. It's quintessential Justin Roland. Solar Opposites isn't trying to be Rick and Morty, they just share the same genre.
I was going to compare what makes Solar Opposites different than Rick and Morty but I will try not to do that in this review.
What is Solar Opposites about? Is about four aliens who recently land on earth but they shouldn't be here, yet, they try to learn about the human kind at their sci-fi style but it always goes wrong.
Is it good? It is, I mean, it starts kind of slow. The first three episodes are some buildup of the characters and their uniqueness style of life. Then the fourth episode is where things start to became interesting. The characters became familiar and if you are paying enough attention, you will discover their relationship between each other and their unique personalities.
The humor is basically the same as Rick and Morty but with a different kind of changes. Every character has their own storyline and their own way to react to human kind. Also, yeah they give a lot of promotion to Hulu but they do that with jokes, it's almost satirical and dumb the way they do that and they know it
And of course, the Wall storyline is amazing. Is like their unique plot in the show and I'm hoping gets more developed for the second season.
Give this show an opportunity, it's just simple fun.
Rick and Morty: The Vat of Acid Episode (2020)
Saving the season
I mean, best episode so far of the entire season. I wasn't sure if it was going to be good after so many bad episodes but this episode is the best of the entire show since a long time.
Into the Dark: My Valentine (2020)
Is there a hate campaign againts this show or what?
I'll be the first to admit it. Into The Dark is not a work of art, sometimes it has the most boring or dumb storylines like treehouse or midnight kiss. But sometimes it came out with episodes like this.
This episode is about toxic relationships and the pop industry. It's really extraordinary in every aspect, from storywise to bloodwise. I mean, even the editing, effects and music are great. This is one of the few episodes of this season with the christmas episode that I absolutely enjoyed. I will totally recommend this episode to everyone.
So please, stop giving it mediocre rating to this show when it doesn't deserve it. Or please someone explain to me why is this show so hated when it delivers his decent movies like any other anthology show out there.
Supergirl: Back from the Future - Part One (2020)
WTF is going on this day?
C'mon, are you gonna tell me that you didn't see this coming?
William is obviously Kara's love interest, he's hot. a reporter, he wants to uncover the truth about some weird things and he's likely to discover Kara's identity pretty quick. So this was very obvious, but a couple of romantic scenes are not enough to rate this episode so poorly, it was kinda good.
You: Love, Actually (2019)

I LOVE THIS SEASON.
It was very different than the first season but with the same structure. I would love to see Ellie again in S3. I love her.
I think this season show us how damaged is Joe and make us realize even more than the previous season how damaged we are. Because Joe is the bad guy, Love is the bad girl. Candace and Forty were the good guys after all this time, I mean, Yeah, Joe does some good things like stopping a predator like Henderson or killing an abuser like paco's stepdad. But he does all of this in a lot of bad ways and for the worst reasons. Meanwhile, Candace and Forty does bad things like drugs and cheating but they do it for a good reason, stop the real threat that is Joe.
BTW the last scene it was something that has to happen because
1. We need a third season
2. Joe isn't a good person, he doesn't love Love, he loves the idea of the baby and the family he could make with her. But he wants a perfect girl and his neighbor seems like the maniac pixie girl that Joe has been looking for.
3. This show can't end with a happy ending for Joe, he is the bad guy and he has to be punish for what he has done. I hope the next season to be the last because they can't do this kind of premise of Joe falling in love for a new girl every season.
POINTS FOR THE SEASON: 10/10
Dead of Summer (2016)
Dead of summer: The ending is WOW.
PROS:
-THE ENDING. The last three episodes are television golden in his most pure representation. It´s full of twists, unexpected revelations and a satisfying resolution.
-A good story overall, with decent performances.
-It was cancelled. I know it sounds wrong but this show it's better in just one season. I don't think a second season would have been good, after all this season has a good conclusion.
CONS:
-Really slow and some things are a little bit predictable at the first episodes. Overall the part of being slow it's because making a horror show focusing on a camp with 10 episodes feels like a lot. This show should last maximum 8 episodes.
-The acting was just decent. Must of the cast is forgettable.
Deception (2018)
Deception: It was good but repetitive.
PROS:
-When his focus is the main plot, the show makes really good episodes like the episodes 1x07 & 1x08, these two episodes are golden.
-A great cast. It's amazing how good Jack Cutmore-Scott plays his character; the supporting characters are really good too.
-It has an interesting concept. A magician helping the FBI with cases of crimes filled with illusion. I mean, come on, that's great.
CONS:
-We already have many episodic police shows with a special partner. Lucifer, for example, is one of them, the flash I would say is kinda the same because he has a team like this show. The idea is not so original even though the way they developed is.
-The never-ending story about two partners who resolved crimes and they fall in love with each other. I mean, it's the most obvious cliché in the world and this show has this boring cliché. This show is kinda predictable.
-It was cancelled. And now we will never knew what happened next. And that's such bone killer.
Now Apocalypse (2019)
Now Apocalypse: Sex trash.
PROS:
-Young sexy cast.
-An interesting premise at first glance.
CONS:
-It just focuses on sex. I mean, I know it was going to be many sex scenes but I didn't want it to believe it was just a lot of sex scenes and people only caring about whom are they doing with. And the sex scenes are not even that explicit. They were very soft.
-It doesn't have anything to say about anything. There's not plot really, just sex and conspirators but at first it's just boring. The plot never feels like it's moving.
-The acting and jokes are blank. It doesn't feel like they put much effort into it.
Mrs. Fletcher (2019)
Mrs. Fletcher: It feels unfinished.
PROS:
-Short entertaining episodes with a good pacing.
-The actors fit right with their characters and they do a good job in the acting department, giving every character a unique personality.
-Good plots about self-discovery in a new environment. Mrs. Fletcher is trying to find out who she is when she's not just a mother and his son is trying to discover who he is when he's not the popular guy. There's a lot of sex discovery too. It's a very sexual show.
-Inclusive. They have transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, fat, black, white, straight, old and more representation and it doesn't feel forced or trying to make an statement about today's world.
CONS:
-It feels unfinished. Like, I know they want us to believe that is a limited miniseries but I don't felt like that was it. I feel like, yeah, they really close many plots of the season but I feel like they open many plots for a second season with that ending. It feels like they were cancelled and give it the excuse of a miniseries.
-Sometimes the sexual aspect is like too much that I just couldn't focus much on the plot.
-The son's a jerk. I didn't empathize so much with him so I didn't care about what happen to him. It feels like he didn't fulfill his character arc.
Alexa & Katie (2018)
ALEXA & KATIE: How teen shows should be.
PROS:
-A really mature premise. The story focuses on Alexa. She has cancer, and we will be watching how this affects to this girl and her family.
-The emotional moments are golden. I found myself crying into half of the episodes of each season. It's simply amazing, and it really opens a conversation.
-It's entertaining and short. Every episode it feels like the plot is moving forward. I mean, every season take place a year on the girls lives.
CONS:
-Sitcom laughs that makes you feel like the show is forcing you to laugh to jokes that aren't that funny. It's essentially a Disney show with a mature thematic.
-May not appeal to boys.
-Some jokes aren't really funny and sometimes it's very corny.
The Two Popes (2019)
The Two Popes: Boring.
PROS:
-Extraordinary actors
-Thought provoking dialogues
-Good message.
CONS:
-It's so freaking slow that I got bore in the first 10 minutes and after 40 minutes, I almost got sleep.
-It doesn't live up to the hype. It isn't as good as many people make them look.
-I don't know a lot about camera work but this movie is looking like it was a found footage movie, like a mockumentary, I didn't like it.
Gisaengchung (2019)
PARASITE: OUTSTANDING.
PROS:
EVERY SINGLE THING.
The acting is great. The pacing is amazing, it always feels like something is happening and you won't get bored. The message isn't scream out at the audience, you need to read between the lines.
The characters are well developed, there's no hero or villain. You can empathize with every character and understand why they do what they do. There are violence, comedy, action, suspense and romance. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, and I find myself really.
CONS:
Not for me, but some people may find the ending really weird and unsatisfying. But read some reviews and probably you would understand what's the message behind the ending.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)
JUMANJI WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE: Comedy action cliché.
Pros:
-The cast and the acting are great, every character is entertaining and they have their storyline.
It's an entertaining movie even though it has lots of clichés. The pacing keeps you interested in what's happening. The story is simple.
Strong female characters and The Rock is an fearful teenager in this movie.
Cons:
-It's completely predictable. You already know what's going to happen most of the time.
Some jokes are very immature.
It's so simple it's just generic. If your one of those people who likes to be surprised by something. This is not your movie; if you watch the trailer, you already know what this movie is about.
The Addams Family (2019)
The Addams Family: Something scarier than this family is the sketch humor of the movie.
Let's be simple with this movie
Pros:
-Some funny jokes. I feel like the animation was decent. The dark and weird lifestyle of the family is really interesting and well developed. I think for kids would be a good comedy
Cons:
-It lacks of direction and most of the time the plot doesn't seem to move forward. The story has a sketch format of an Adam Sandler animated movie like the second movie of Hotel Transylvania. The message of the story is scream to the audience several times.
Jexi (2019)
JEXI: Weird but funny.
Phil (Adam Levine) is really obsess with his cellphone but the new A.I. of his new phone is about to change his life by making it take risk choices to change his daily routine.
This is a weird movie. It's unrealistic from beginning to end. The humor is all over the top and some things don't make sense. I think that Adam Levine saves a little bit the whole movie because he has charisma and he can deliver a joke. He's a good actor for this kind of movies.
It's pretty weird; I would say that you could watch this movie if you're into unrealistic comedy based on how humans are addicted to their phone.
But I also would like to say that it has a good reason why phil is so addicted to his phone. I think I'm almost like him in some way, maybe that's the reason why I liked the movie even with his unrealistic story.
You're Next (2011)
You're Next: A very serious dark comedy.
Erin (Sharni Vinson ) will have the weirdest family reunion when the family of his boyfriend is attacked by three masked killers who are ready to kill every single person in the house. There's no scape and you're next.
I finally know why people compare "Ready or not" with "You're next", they both make the same mistake. They take it everything so seriously and they try to be horror when they shouldn't.
I mean, you're next has his horror moments like the first deaths but when almost half of the cast is dead, there's not horror left. Everything became a little bit more thriller and they throw a lot of dark humor. Sometimes the comedy mess a little bit with the pacing of the horror but I really enjoyed that humorous moments.
I would like this movie to be funnier because that was the only thing that it's left to be really great. I love the fact that the final girl of this movie is really active and really tries to stay alive by fighting against the villains combining brain with strength.
Into the Dark: Midnight Kiss (2019)
ITD-Midnight Kiss: Gay shouldn't be your only asset.
A group of gay friends go to a house to celebrate the happy New Year with their game "Midnight Kiss" but everything goes wrong because a masked killer is in the haunt.
I love gays as much as everyone in the LGBT community does. I'm gay, and the fact that this movie is a slasher with every character being gay was something interesting. It seems that queer is the only thing this movie has to offer.
The characters being gay are okay, but they don't seem to have more personality than who they like and who they makeout with. The only character you really care about by the end of the movie is the girl, because she seems to have real problems that don't involve sex.
This movie only has four deaths, and just one of them is really explicit and scary and it's the first death. This alone is a slasher sin. But there's a major slasher sin.
THE KILLER AND HIS MOTIVATIONS ARE QUITE PREDICTABLE AND PRETTY STUPID. I was hoping so much better from this episode but I honestly didn't like it. If this movie were full of straight people, it would be pretty much the same garbage movie but it would be so much worse because the only thing that this movie really brings to the slasher genre is the gay characters.
The End of the F***ing World: Episode #2.8 (2019)
The End Of The f***ing World S2: How to impress the audience with a second season.
James (Alex Lawther) & Alyssa (Jessica Barden) are dealing with the consequences of their actions. James is trying getting back with Alyssa; she is trying feeling something. Meanwhile, Bonnie (Naomi Ackie) is looking for revenge against the odd couple.
This season is excellent. I don't find any problems with this season in any possible aspect. The music is awesome; the characters had change a lot and have evolved to become more interesting. The new addition to the show (Bonnie) makes this season even greater.
I'm going giving you three reasons why this season is even better than the first one:
1.External conflict: Obviously this season has one of the most amazing revenge plots. Bonnie was in love with the guy James and Alyssa killed in S1,E3 and she wants to kill them. We understand the point of view of Bonnie and know what she is up to, and everything is resolved in one amazing episode.
2.Internal conflict: James and Alyssa have their own unique problem. Alyssa feels pretty guilty for the murder of Clive, and James wants to say "I love you" to Alyssa. These problems will be address in different episodes and they would be the trigger for the season finale.
3.The season finale: If this show isn't renewed for a third season, this season finale is a very good series finale. It makes me cry and I thought it was very well made focusing on the internal conflicts of the main characters.
This season gets 10 out of 10. It was so much better than what I expected to be.
The End of the F***ing World: Episode #1.8 (2017)
The End Of The f***ing World S1: An overrated rebel teenager adventure.
Two teenagers, James (Alex Lawther) who is 17 and is pretty sure he is a psychopath, and Alyssa (Jessica Barden) who is also 17 and is a rebellious teenager who convinces James to run away with her on a search for Alyssa's father.
This show is pretty short. It has only eight episodes of 22 minutes each. The characters are rebel teenagers who want to have an adventure where they escape from their boring lives to find Alyssa's father. Every episode is really interesting, the first two episodes are a teen comedy drama very regular, until the third episode where it finally begin being amazing.
The comedy is very good, and the adventures are full of teen crimes that are pretty entertaining to see. But I feel like the show is a little bit overrated. Most of the people who talk about the show say that is one of the best shows ever. And it makes me feel like I'm overlooking something. The first season is great; it has many good jokes and good moments. The characters are a little bit deep. You can empathize with James and Alyssa.
I didn't like a little bit how the show makes seem to the audience that being a psychopath or running away is something cute. But maybe that's just me.
This season gets 7 out of 10. It's a good series about teen run away with the unusual mistakes and troubles they make. The season finale is so epic that makes you believe there's no way they could make a good season... Spoiler Alert... It is possible.
Rick and Morty: Rattlestar Ricklactica (2019)
Rick and Morty S4 First half: Redundancies.
Now, they gave us just 5 episodes, most of them mediocre, after 2 years of waiting. Rick and Morty is just so overrated right now. Some people might say that this season was exactly like the first season but the truth is that it wasn't. This season is the fourth season and it feels worse than the previous seasons. Allow me to explain myself by reviewing quickly the five episodes.
4x01 -"Edge of tomorty: Rick die Rickpeat" is perfection. This episode could easily be added to the third season like the season finale because it's great. This episode shows how the character of Morty has develops through the years. Morty is now more cynical and careless, he is becoming a teenager and he has his priorities. He doesn't care the dead of his grandpa, something that would terrified season 1 Morty. At the same time I have a little complain and it's the fact that this episode shows us Rick can't die, he would always come back, so there's not risk. This episode gets 10 out of 10
4x02 - "The old man and the seat" is immature. I like the episode for the secondary plot. Jerry, Morty and the alien are pretty funny, they have and entertaining dynamic and the plan of the aliens are quite good. The Beth and Summer's storyline is entertaining. Meanwhile Rick plot is simply immature, many poop jokes and dumb twists, fake deepness and it ends with a "Rick is lonely" message, which we already have seen in previous episodes developed better. This episode gets 7 out of 10
4x03 - "One crew over the crewcoo's Morty" is the worst parody ever. I mean, if you hate something, don't parody it in such a stupid way. This episode starts off like a normal filler episode but it turns out to be another episode about how Rick proves to everyone he is better than anyone else, include it himself. At the end, everything turns out to be a Rick plan to hurt somebody else for selfish reasons. You know, another episode showing us how smart and selfish Rick can be. The best parts of the episode are the meme and Mr. Poopybutthole's return. This episode gets 5 out of 10
4x04 - "Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim's Morty" a very filler episode that explores Rick and Morty in a fantasy world. Honestly, this episode is mostly meh. I don't hate it and don't love it. It was boring and meh. The jetty's subplot is really funny, and It lets you wonder a lot of things about that cat. This episode gets 7 out of 10.
4x05 - "Rattlestar Ricklactica" is another epic episode. It's full of good parodies and references that actually helped to the episode instead of being parodies for the sick of parody. Is a funny episode and the secondary plot with Jerry shows how this character is having a development in the recent years. This episode gets 10 out of 10
This season was kind of a mess. Two great episodes, two mediocre episodes and one episode that shouldn't exist. The message of the episodes is falling into some message that they already showed us before. Also, there's no really big character development or scene where you can sympathize with Rick, is like they were trying to make Rick as awful as he can be but at the same time really funny.
This first half of the season gets 7 out of 10.
Rick and Morty: The Rickchurian Mortydate (2017)
Rick and Morty S3: There's something great left.
After that season 2 finale, many expectations were put into the third season of "Rick and Morty" but the truth is that it was quite a waste of time. The expectations were too high, and the final product was a season full of highs and lows. Let me explain by reviewing really fast every episode.
3x01 - "The Rickshank Rickdemption" is one of the most amazing episodes of the show. It has one of the most amazing storylines, it continues where the season finale left it and it shows you how badass Rick is. Also, it makes you feel like this season would have a little bit more of continuation. 10/10
3x02 - "Rickmancing the stone" is one of the worst episodes of the show actually, it's a parody to mad max and it doesn't bring up any to the table. You probably forget about this episode after watching it.
3x03 - "Pickle Rick" is one good episode. It's an episode focus on how smart and resourceful is Rick and how he can beat whatever he wants. Also, it is really good introspective to the Smith family. 9/10
3x04 - "Vindicators 3: The return of worldlender" is just fire garbage. I mean, the message of heroes can be as bad as anyone else is great but it's a dumb parody of the avengers/guardians of the galaxy style with nothing to offer. You don't care about any of these new characters except for Noob Noob that guy gets it. 6/10
3x05 - "The whirly dirly conspiracy" is actually great. There's a funny adventure between Rick and Jerry and it's funny to see these kinds of interactions. The secondary plot shows how Morty is evolving as a character. 9/10
3x06 - "Rest and Ricklaxation" is one of my favorite episodes of the show. It shows how great the comedy and sci-fi in this show is. It's a funny adventure with character development and great villains. 10/10
3x07 - "The Ricklantis Mixup" I mean what's left to say about this episode. It's a masterpiece and one of the most successful episodes in IMDB. 10/10
3x08 - "Morty's mind blowers" is one episode that you don't remember. Really, I don't recall any good joke, meme or something about this episode. 3/10
3x09 - "The ABC'S of Beth" a good episode when it comes to the Beth plot, I mean, she never gets so much depth like in this episode and it lets you with many questions. But the secondary plot is boring 7/10
3x10 - "The Rickchurian Mortydate" what's the point of this episode and why it has to be the season finale. Rick again fights the president to prove that he is a badass... That's a redundancy. He already proves that he is a badass in pickle rick and it was more exciting than this episode. 2/10
Now I know what goes wrong. They have many ideas, but they execute them in a really forgettable way for half of the episodes. I mean, the half of the season is great but the other half is bad. This season gets 7 out of 10.
Rick and Morty: The Wedding Squanchers (2015)
Rick and Morty S2: The peak of something great.
If you watch the first season than you already know what the plot is, so I'm not going to go on full detail about it. This season may have the same plot of the first season (A scientist and his grandson having sci-fi adventures across the universe) but this season is so awesome that it's almost a crime to hate it.
Why is this season so much better than the first? Good question, everything is related to comedy, story and character development right balance. Let me go through every episode.
2x01 - "A Rickle in Time" is a masterpiece. The sci-fi concept of the episode is great, the jokes are awesome and a really good emotional scene makes you empathize with Rick. 10/10
2x02 - "Mortynight Run" is a good episode. It's full of action and very funny jokes. It's not one of the best in the season; I would say it's the second meh episode of the season for me. 8/10
2x03 - "Auto Erotic Assimilation" is another amazing episode. It's full of character development, really good jokes and one of the saddest scenes of the show. 10/10
2x04 - "Total Rickall" is the funniest episode of the show. It introduces another memorable episodic character and it's full of action and plot twists. 10/10
2x05 - "Get Schwifty" is the worst episode of the season. It's just a meme generator episode. That's it. 6/10
2X06 - "The Ricks must be crazy" is one of the satirical episodes that prove how assholy Rick can be. And the secondary plot is pretty entertaining. 9/10
2x07 - "Big trouble in little Sanchez" is another funny episode that gives many focus to Summer in a very funny and unique way. Meanwhile it shows how sad Rick is inside. 9/10
2x08 - "Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate" is a funny conceptual episode; it has great jokes and generate good memes. 9/10
2x09 - "Look who's purging now" is the parody episode of the season. It's actually quite funny and gores. 10/10
2x10 - "The wedding squanchers" is the best season finale of the series so far. Full of emotions and twists, it seems like this episode was a game changer. 10/10
So, that's what I like about every episode. This season makes the show looks so more awesome that what actually would be with his next season. But for this season, things were great. This season gets 10 out of 10.
Rick and Morty: Ricksy Business (2014)
Rick And Morty S1: The start of something great.
Rick Sanchez (Justin Roiland) is a brilliant scientist that has crazy adventures with his grandson, Morty Smith (Justin Roiland) through the entire universe and multiverse. Sometimes join with some other member of the family, like Summer Smith (Spencer Grammer) the teenager sister, Morty's mom, Beth Smith (Sarah Chalke) and his dad, Jerry Smith (Chris Parnell).
This is the plot summary for the entire show. It's an episodic show; every episode is a new adventure, and the continuity is usually brought up sometimes but it doesn't change a lot on the plot. But "Rick and Morty" have something that differentiates the show from others. It has a soul, and it seems to have a message "Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody's gonna die. Come watch TV". I'm joking with this last part.
"Rick and Morty" is a parody of the sci-fi genre, there's a lot of episodes that are a parody of some sci-fi movie (Anatomy Park-Jurassic Park) or maybe they use some concept of the genre, like travel across the multiverse, making devices that makes dogs smart and able to talk, a love potion, travel to another planet or dimension, or stopping time.
This show has many ideas and they are pretty well developed, the characters are so likeable and funny that you will remember the main characters and probably some episodic characters like the meeseeks.
My favorite and must-to-watch episodes of the season are 1x02 (Lawnmower Dog), 1x05 (Meeseeks and Destroy), 1X06 (Rick Potion #9), 1x08 (Rixty Minutes) and 1x10 (Close Rick-counters of the Rick kind)
This season gets 8 out of 10. Because I totally forget some episodes of the show like 1x09, 1x04 and 1x01.
The Other Two (2019)
THE OTHER TWO: I wanna be a child star, is gonna be bad.
Chase Dreams (Case Walker) is a 13 year old boy who is becoming enormously popular in internet. Now his brother Cary (Drew Tarver) and his sister Brooke (Heléne Yorke) have to deal with being the other two in the family.
This is an excellent show. Better than I expected to be. I decided to watch it one day that I was pretty bored and I like the two first episodes, they are really fun and have a really good satire about the show business and how hard is to be a child star.
The acting is decent, good for a comedy, and the plot feels like it's always moving, a little bit slow but it's moving. The jokes are reasonably hilarious, I found myself laughing on most of the episodes, especially the third and fourth episodes.
The best part of the show is the satire of the show business; a lot of things may seem to be really familiar like the fact that Chase Dreams is a decent looking pre-teenager who sings cheesy romantic songs that only appeal to girls, or maybe you find quite familiar how a guy publishes means tweets and make his whole Instagram account to share those tweets, probably if you're like me, you will find very familiar how hot dudes are popular in Instagram just because they are really hot. This kind of things and more is what you're going to discover in this show.
Give it a try; it has 10 episodes and if you watch them together, they doesn't last more than 5 hours, probably less than that. The first season of this show gets 8 out of 10.
6 Underground (2019)
UNDERGROUND 6: Fun, diverse, dumb action. (Mini-Spoiler)
A group of six agents had leave their past behind, they are dead for mankind to change the world for good. Now they are planning to make a coup d'état that's going to be a wild ride full of explosions, action and jokes.
If you're expecting a wonderful movie with deep characters with deep motivations to make something to change the world, then you shouldn't watch this movie. Underground 6 is a film about action; it doesn't pretend to be something that is not. Ryan Reynolds is a clear proof that this movie is simple fun; his character is funny but really strategical. Every actor does a decent job with the role they were assigned.
There are three long action scenes that make the movie worthy. One at the beginning, then in the middle and one in the end, these three scenes are really well directed when it comes to this kind of movies.
It's not a perfect film because is fun but that's it. There's nothing at risk. I mean, yeah, you could say that if they don't succeed then the world must be an awful place, but it's just a movie. The villain seems to be a cartoon villain with his over the top evilness. The main characters are all based on one personality trait or two.
One (Ryan Reynolds) is the American leader. Two (Mélanie Laurent) is the cold and smart French. Three (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is the emotional hitman Latino. Four (Ben Hardy) is the funny parkour man. Five (Adria Arjona) is the Mexican nurse. Six (Dave Franco) the frat boy who dies. Seven (Corey Hawkins) is the black military man who is not going to leave anyone behind. Yes, this is a very diverse cast and group, points for representation but these characters are not so deep like they may seem. I would say that the only and deep character is Three but sometimes it's a little bit a stereotype of the emotional man.
My conclusion is that if you want to watch a movie just because you want to see action and explosions and not think too much. Underground 6 is perfect for you.
