Comprehensive and informative
This is a comprehensive retrospective of Whitney's life. There are many interviews of people close to her, and it is very informative.
No idea what it is about
I honestly have no idea what this film is about. The visuals are not pleasing, the characters are poorly developed and I don't feel connected with any part of this film.
Boring and mystifying
I watched the story l whole film but I don't really know what it is about. It is a collage of scenes showing a woman acting very weird. I find it boring.
El Camino Christmas (2017)
Couldn't say I enjoyed it
The plot wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the infuriating incompetence and injustice that happened in the film. The pace is slow as well. I couldn't say I enjoyed it.
Straight Up (2019)
A very unusual romantic comedy
This is an interesting, and very unusual romantic comedy. The leading man is very handsome and likable. I enjoyed it.
Don't understand it at all
The story is all over the place. The historically inaccurate casting confuses me, and I don't understand who is who. I don't understand it at all.
Too long and boring
It tries to be a big heist thriller, but it is just too long and boring.
The King of Staten Island (2020)
I enjoyed it
This story is engaging because it pays a lot of respect to brave firemen. Family relationships are well portrayed. There are some laugh out loud jokes we well. I enjoyed it.
Dating Amber (2020)
I love it
This lovely film captures just how closeted gay teenagers feel in a small town. It's bitter sweet but also beautiful. I love it.
Can't believe I had tears in my eyes!
This is way way better than I expected. It's fun and entertaining. It even brings tears to my eyes at the end, which is very unexpected! I really enjoyed it.
Exploring validation seeking in social media
It is an interesting exploration of the validation seeking in social media. I connect with Dean in the sense that I just don't get all this attention seeking and validation seeking.
This is a very interesting film about the behind the scenes of American politics. It is engaging, funny and witty all at the same time. I enjoyed it.
Miss Juneteenth (2020)
It is an engaging film about a woman who is working very hard to make ends meet, while also grooming her daughter to be a pageant queen. I feel for her experiences.
Can't get into the story
The story is slow, and none of the characters capture my heart. I can't get into the story at all.
Fasl-e Narges (2017)
A touching story
Three seemingly unconnected stories are told in a non linear order. Only towards the final ten minutes, things become clear. Once I reconstruct all the events chronologically, I find myself rather touched by the good deeds that the characters carry out. It's a touching story.
I See You (2019)
Didn't enjoy it so much
I find the strange occurrences not very scary. The fact that half the film is spent explaining the occurrences is a little strange too. I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected.
Ali's Wedding (2017)
It's entertaining, and shows how culture and community shackles can impact on young people's lives.
Intense and engaging
The story is pretty intense and engaging, especially given the fact that it is a single location film. 99% of the film happens in the cockpit.
Artemis Fowl (2020)
Can't say I enjoyed it
It has good production, but I can't relate to the story. The fairy creatures are not so pleasing too look at either. Can't say I enjoyed it.
Bayou Caviar (2018)
Poorly told story
The story is fragmented and is poorly told. I have trouble figuring out the relationship between key characters. The reason for making the tape is lost on me too.
The story is there but it is not told well. I see what's happening but I don't really know what's happening in the film. Things are poorly explained. The main character low too disturbing for me to get into the film too.
Dear Eleanor (2016)
It is a pretty sweet and engaging story. The characters are likable. I enjoyed it.
Anderson Falls (2020)
Not enough material
The film doesn't have enough material to fill up the screen time. I enjoyed it enough though.
Da 5 Bloods (2020)
More political than it needs to be
It's well made and is highly topical, but also way more political than or needs to be.
Truly inspirational and phenomenal
The story is inspirational, and the acting is phenomenal. It touches my heart deeply.
