I think most of America, if not the world, look for great family programming L, and thia movie fit the bill.
I'm am older guy, and I had tears several times watching this. I rarely sit thru a whole movie. Usually I don't finish them, or watch them over multiple days, but like a God book you can't put down, I watched this fully without a break.
While some might say it was an obvious outcome, there were 2 main twists I did not expect.
Dealing with dementia and Alzheimers can be both scary and rewarding, and this movie shows just a small part of that experience. You'll feel very sad, and very happy.
I will be looking for more fro thsi writer and director.
When I found it was all filmed less than 10 miles from me, I was shocked I'd never heard about it. I'm so glad I just accidently happens across it. I was binge-watching Little House and looked up Karen Grassle and that's when I found this movie. 2 of the others in this movie, it was their last performance, Olympia Dukakis and Cloris Leachman.

Not to Forget (2021) is a really bad film about a "millennial" who gets sentenced to a month with his grandmother in Kentucky. The old lady is suffering from alzheimer's disease. When he discovers she is rich and owns land, he summons his dumb friends and they try to cook up a scheme to grab her money and property. Easily one of the worst films I've ever seen. The low point may be when the grandson dresses up in jesus drag to try to get the old lady to say where the key to the safe is. And no it's not supposed to be funny.
Five, count them, five Oscar winners appear in this mess. Lou Gossett plays a local minister who spouts bible passages at the drop of a hat. Olympia Dukakis plays the judge. Cloris Leachman plays a hair salon customer. Tatum O'Neal plays the local doctor. George Chakiris plays the ancient banker. Career lows for all of them. Aside from Gossett, this is the final film appearance for the others.
Karen Grassle plays the old grandma. Never heard of any of the young actors and they are all terrible.

I truly enjoyed this movie. Having a disease can be so hard to deal with. But love, patience, and family is so important. This movie was sweet, sad, to the heart, and joyful. The acting may not have been the best but it was still enjoyable. I recommend this movie.
