Bloody Hell

Screenwriter Robert Benjamin has stated that he initially came up with the idea while traveling, and noticing a family of foreigners at the airport staring at him oddly, while whispering in their native language. Naturally, he assumed they were planning to kidnap and eat him, and so he began thinking of all the things he would do if he woke up in some dark basement. He wrote the outline for the film at the gate while waiting for his flight.

At around 20 mins in when Alia is reading Jack and the beanstalk to Olli she says "I smell the blood of an American" when the original is "I smell the blood of an Englishman" which you can clearly see is written in the book when the camera pans behind them.

After the credits, the word "Finnished" appears.
