The Boat featured, the 'MV Andrew J. Barberi' was a Passenger Ferry built and put into service in 1981 and named after a well known Staten Island High School Football Coach who died in 1979. After the 15th Oct 2003 accident that left 11 people dead and 70 injured, the boat was repaired and went back into service on 1st Jul 2004 and is still in use daily. See more
