It's About Time

In the comic, it's Mark's high-school principal who gives him the idea to call himself Invincible, not Nolan.

When Omni-Man and Invincible are playing catch, as mentioned the ball is traveling extremely fast, much faster than the speed of sound, yet they hear it coming, which would be impossible at supersonic speeds. Also, at that speed, the ball would not circle the Earth, but would break orbit and fly off into space.

Mark's superhero name is never spoken. When it is about to be spoken, the episode cuts to the opening credits, including the title which is also Mark's superhero name: Invincible.
