After the devastating alien attack, disparate pockets of survivors emerge into a shattered world. They quickly realize they must put their differences aside if they are to stand any chance of survival. For they are not alone. Something sinister lurks in the shadows and whatever it is, it won't consider its victory complete until it has killed every last human. But who are these attackers and why are they hell-bent on destruction?
This episode is almost an exact rip-off of every scene from the beginning of 28 Days Later. The only difference is that there are no zombies or aliens in this highly boring and disappointing TV series episode.
Imagine 28 Days Later if they just spent an hour running around an empty city, with dead people laying on the ground? Just random looting of stores by the few survivors. Kind of a sweat deal, except there is no electricity.
The professor who is the smartest person in the military base immediately freaks out and goes nuts looking for her sister by running down a hill. Totally ridiculous stuff. Like the first episode, endless amounts of time are spent watching people pack their bags, and have pointless and boring discussion. Just a laughable adaptation of the HG Wells novel.
