Well made sci-fi action entertainer with Ravi Teja at his finest.
Just watched it on the big screen with subtitles and I totally enjoyed it! Disco Raja is a finely made sci-fi action entertainer that possibly showcases Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja at his best. Great action, intriguing science concept, catchy music, unexpected twists and a solid execution are what make Disco Raja impressive. The director presents us with intriguing concepts and remembers to use them at the right moment. This could possibly be the finest film of Ravi Teja, who entirely steals the show.
Disco Raja also features a memorable background score, and I'm glad one more thing: there's no forced comedy or romance in the film. The film is perfectly balanced from the beginning to the end. And wait, what an ending!
The action sequences are outstanding! They give the feel of a Hollywood film at times, and that's something truly worth enjoying on the big screen. However, there's a lot of gore too, so keep this in mind that this is a very violent action film meant more for the mature viewers despite the U/A certification.
Disco Raja easily joins the list of best action movies of the year. This is the second Telugu film I've seen this year in cinemas with subtitles, and it was a great experience. If you like sci-fi action movies and Ravi Teja, book your tickets now and prepare yourself for a rollercoaster ride!
