I'm shocked that no one has reviewed this yet.
I was telling my fiance a few weeks ago that I missed his old series AMERICAS MOST WANTED, and wished it was brought back. Low and behold, a couple weeks later, I see the preview for this show. Although it doesn't have the same name, it has the same premise. I love John so much for what he does. A great series. Its very cool that he is bringing his son on board. Everyone should watch this show. You never know when you may actually run into one of these missing persons.

Firstly four of the five other reviews, all ten stars are by single use accounts pointing to shilling.
Secondly the host is good on the small details, on the specific crime, the hunt for perp -- but is an absolute idiot when it comes to his pronouncements on policy.
I've seen him on TV on various news shows completely making up numbers and statistics, making statements on trends that are the reverse of the facts and data, I've seen him talk about firearms, essentially almost tripling the actual number of gun homicides, when over the past 25 years near 2/3 of gun death is suicide, and he was aggregating both suicide and homicide and calling it gun murder. He has also massively exaggerated the number of kidnaped children. He also was, in 2015 claiming shootings were increasing, when in fact they had fallen both raw and per capita, down 64% per capita from the mid 1990s to that point. He pontificated on firearms law yet demonstrates with his statements that he doesn't know a thing about the subject. He pontificates on sentencing laws yet clearly doesn't know that either.
Essentially he is making his living making people believe that social and criminal violence is getting worse long term -- when all the data show it is on a long relentless long term decline measured in 200, 150, 100, 50 and 25 year trends.
He has a "center for Missing and Exploited Children" yet openly admits he was engaged in a relationship with a girl in NY when she was 16 and he was in his 20's -- making him a registerable sex criminal himself under laws he promoted: "In his book Tears of Rage, Walsh openly admits being in a relationship with 16-year-old Revé when Walsh was in his early 20s and aware of the age of consent being 17 in New York. Critics of the Adam Walsh Act have pointed out that, had he been convicted, Walsh himself would have been subject to sex offender registration under the law which he aggressively promoted." From wikipedia article on him.

Have you looked into the closed case of Christian Griggs in North Carolina? The following link outlines his case for which justice is long overdue. Please help this family. I can't imagine what this family has gone through and continues to go through not being able to see their sons daughter as well as to see this cover-up persists in this day and age. Harnet county sheriff and DA refuse to pursue justice in this matter and this has gone on since October 2013 when the incident occurred. The Lord sees everything and nothing escapes his sight. Those who stand on the wrong side of this travesty will be held accountable. My heart breaks for the family. May the Lord be with them.
And I couldn't be more thrilled! I love this show & John Walsh. Working on solving today's unsolved crimes and finding missing persons in a way only John Walsh can. I imagine Fox wouldn't sell the rights to the name because this show is America's Most Wanted and even includes Walsh' "30 seconds of shame." Great to have this show back
