- Rape is implied with Mary as a soldier shoves her down and approaches her. Two men smell her and imply they do not want to have sex with her.
- A man returns from a long journey and wants to reunite sexually with his wife but is prevented by unwanted guests. Tastefully done and played for laughs.

- The opening of one of the most recent ep shows: a child falling off a tree and getting paralized, a woman suddenly dying in the midst of labor, a couple of men fighting, a man being beaten by a soldier, and more. After the opening a man is held with a knife at his throat (he survives, as it was just an essay)
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The last episode shows Nicodemus crying as he can't join the disciples. This scene is very heartbreaking.
