I've never been so excited about any show ever. A few come close, but no, this is in a class of it's own. I'm an older female (over 45), so this show is not reserved for a younger audience. The plot is rich and the characters are diverse and beautiful. These actors knocked it out of the park. Rue is by far a standout, but Jules and Nate are runners up. The rest of the cast is amazing. This is a disturbing and thought provoking view of life for these teens. It's deep. It's dark and will draw emotions from the dead. Whoever chose the music is a genius and whoever chose the wardrobe and makeup are highly talented. The special effects were dynamic as well. I can't compare this with anything...nothing. This series will set the stage for other similar shows. Love, greed, damage, sex, hate, jealousy were all so impeccably portrayed. There were just not enough episodes. I'd watch 20 seasons of this if possible. The relationship between Rue and Jules is beautiful. Nate and his father were disturbing, but I loved it. I'd suggest this to anyone seeking something innovative and fresh and dark. I'm shocked to not see a solid 10 stars. It's beyond my comprehension. It's possible for some it's too edgy and controversial. Please give this show a chance. I've been hungry for this type of programming for years. Kudos, kudos.
