A same-sex couple move to a small town so they can enjoy a better quality of life and raise their 16 year-old daughter with the best social values. But nothing is as it seems in their picturesque neighborhood. And when Malik sees the folks next door throwing a very strange party, something shocking has got to give.
It's nice to see bigger budgeted gay-themed movies like this, but it's simultaneously, it's sad that this is incredibly unoriginal and predictable. But, that's really for the first 2 acts. I will say the climax made up for most of the movie's faults, like watching our lead made one DUMB decision after another. Like he thought out each scenario and did the opposite of the correct way to handle it. Still, it's passible especially for light-movie watchers.
