Follow up to Son of Bigfoot: Father uses his new fame to fight against an Alaska oil company but when he disappears the son, the mother, a raccoon and a bear head North to rescue him.

Adam is overwhelmed by the attention his father's newfound fame has brought to the family two months after Bigfoot returns home. Additionally, he finds it difficult to tell his crush, Emma, how he feels.

Bigfoot wants to make a positive impact with his fame. Bigfoot decides to go to Alaska to assist some protesters who write to him about their efforts to stop Xtract, an oil company based in Alaska that says it has no environmental impact on wildlife. Adam posts a promotional video to social media to assist his father. Protesters in large numbers show up to show support for Bigfoot. Bigfoot mysteriously vanishes one night after hearing a loud rumble and attempting to get a better look at the company. In order to locate and save him, Adam and his mother Shelly travel to Alaska in their van with Wilbur and Trapper.

Adam and Shelly meet Arlo Woodstock, the protester who last saw Bigfoot, when they get to Alaska. Woodstock is followed by Shelly, but Adam, Wilbur, and Trapper remain. Xtract guards ambush them while they are waiting in the van, tranquilizing Wilbur and Trapper but allowing Adam to get away. A wolf confronts Adam and threatens to harm him, but they make an agreement for Adam's assistance.

Adam is led by the wolf to Xtract's workplace before it leaves. It is discovered that by using tiny explosions to extract oil, Xtract is killing wildlife. Adam investigates the interior of the business and discovers that Connor Mandrake, the CEO of Xtract, is preparing to demolish the valley by setting up a huge bomb to make it easier for him to dig up the oil. Adam exposes Mandrake by recording him on his phone. Woodstock later locates Adam, but Adam discovers that Woodstock is actually employed by Xtract and is in charge of capturing Bigfoot and Shelly. Adam is taken prisoner by Woodstock, who then forces him into the underground mines.

Mandrake gets the bomb ready. Adam and Shelly make their way out of the mines after he finds Shelly and frees Bigfoot. They are stopped by Xtract drones, but Bigfoot destroys them. Before losing his phone, Adam uploads the videos while they are fleeing, exposing Xtract online. Mandrake gets a backup bomb that can not be turned off to cause the explosion, but Adam turns around and defuses the bomb. Bigfoot grabs it with Wilbur and Trapper's assistance and launches it into the air, causing a signal explosion. Mandrake confronts them, but the police and news arrive in a helicopter. When Mandrake tries to flee, a moose stops him and throws him into an oil puddle with Woodstock.

When Adam and Emma finally meet, Emma tells him that one of the videos he unintentionally uploaded was the one in which he revealed his feelings to her. Emma says yes when he asks her out. Adam is congratulated by his eavesdropping family as Emma gives him a kiss.

When Trapper requests another pancake at the end of the film, it falls on his face, much to his dismay.
