Trivia

The Mission Specialist, stated the caloric requirements are calculated precisely for each crew member, and any additional personnel or increased caloric requirements would lead to starvation. The episode is reminiscent of The Twilight Zone: The Cold Equations (1989), where a stowaway threw the fuel calculations out of balance by her very presence, and as a result the spaceship would fall short of its target, with respect to the delivery of vital supplies to a remote outpost. Quotes

Narrator: [closing narration] It is said that seeing is believing. The crew of the Bradbury heavy mission to Mars might tell you otherwise. They're about to find out that they couldn't trust their own eyes. But who or what can we trust if not ourselves? The answer lies somewhere between takeoff and landing in the Twilight Zone.

Different for the sake of different.

I understand how as a creative you are looking for a fresh new angle of storytelling but you should always ask yourself if it makes sense within the narration.

Being different for the sake of different is the perfect way to set yourself up for failure. Once again, another episode which has lacked depth, especially for a space-related story.
