Important story and outstandig acting
18 April 2021 | by Silke_2020See all my reviews

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to see this beautifully photographed movie at the Berlinale in 2020 - twice. The audiences loved it and we did, too. My friend cried.

The film tells an important story about dignity, truth and justice. Some of its pictures will stick with you. The acting is measured but intense - and deeply touching.

As soon as it comes to my theatre, I will watch "Minamata" again.
