Joshua Bassett was told to improvise the "I love you" monologue to Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), so he incorporated actual memories between the two. Olivia didn't know about this plan, so her reaction was genuine and caught on camera.

Goofs
When Nini turns on her flashlight and shines it on Ricky while they are singing Breaking Free you can see that there is no phone you can see through the camera hole.
