Did You Know?

The Mandalorian says he suspects The Child might be a "Strand-Cast," a new term in the Star Wars universe. Kuiil disagrees and says he saw strand-casts when he was indentured to the Empire, they were not as uniquely "ugly" as The Child. They come from "gene farms." It sounds like these are similar to, but distinct from, clones; perhaps people and/or creatures programmed from scratch at the genetic level rather than a clone of another person. See more »

At Kuiil's house, IG-11 serves tea to Cara Dune, but she already has the cup before the droid reaches her. See more »

IG-11: I have prepared second meal. Would you care to be served here or below?
The Mandalorian: I'm not hungry.
[IG-11 leaves]
The Mandalorian: Under no circumstances does that thing leave the ship.
Cara Dune: You got a real thing for droids, don't you?
The Mandalorian: I got a real thing for *that* droid.
Cara Dune: The Ugnaught said he re-wired it.
The Mandalorian: That droid was designed to kill things. I don't care how much wiring he replaced. It goes against its nature.
Cara Dune: Well, it shouldn't be a long job, anyway. We take out the head Imp, the rest will run like rats.

Hit my expectations exactly
18 December 2019 | by pcaddayeSee all my reviews

Which is a good thing when they were so high. I knew the start would need to be slower than usual to get things ready for this episode and the finale. Truly loved how it connected and this episode made 4,5 and 6 better. The action is pretty good, but what happens is amazing and I am so looking forward to ep 8.

This show has so much potential. Overall, a great episode, only rivaled by 3 and maybe 1 for the best episode yet. I am so looking forward to the finale. This show has been the best thing Disney has done.
