What a spectacle to behold...
24 February 2020 | by sirwillisivSee all my reviews

Wowza, Promare is some marvelous eye candy. Fast-paced, frenetic and mind-meltingly colorful. It's a rousing marathon of fiery mecha action that really gets the adrenaline pumping. Lots of adorable character designs, too, but I do wish those characters were more fleshed out. The story also suffers from some exposition-heavy sequences in the middle act - as well as some laughable dialogue - and it does conclude abruptly. By no means painful, but these setbacks are noticeable, but kind of commonplace in anime overall. I can slightly forgive them because HOLY SMOKES, what a spectacle to behold. Prepare to be dazzled, it's quite the visual powerhouse.
