Refreshing

Refreshing episode. Really felt like the earlier years. Decent jokes.

The Stewie plotline was a little obvious. I preferred the more inventive subplot.

So this is basically the best episode of 17 season. That's what we need perfect main storyline, solid plots.Definitely brought me back to old good family guy episodes.

Great main storyline

I love this episode. Stewie makes this entire episode but Peter and Lois were just there. Peter and him becoming confident was ok but it's Stewie who makes this episode. The montage at the Fun Zone with the gas and guns was awesome. Another great thing is Brian. They use him the perfect amount. Stewie saying that he and Brian aren't friends they are family is heartwarming. I also really like Hudson. If you like Stewie episode this is good for you.

Fantastic episode

This episode was solid. Both plots were refreshing to see the characters acting like their old selves again. We need more episodes like the older seasons.

Warning: Spoilers
Unlike Are You There, God? It's Me, Peter, this episode showed us that Peter's character is not beyond redemption, as Tim Robbins has faith in him and doesn't want Peter to be his first failure, which luckily doesn't happen. I also liked when Stewie assured Brian that just because he has a new friend doesn't mean Brian isn't his friend because Brian is family. The only part of this episode I didn't like was 2 scenes of Lois drinking and a father telling his son "The baby used to say that when I was your age" while the son watches Rick and Morty on an iPad. Well, I guess even good Family Guy episodes can be too short and need filler moments. I really did like the joke with Paul Hogan (who plays the title character of Crocodile Dundee) getting a royalty check every time someone says "That's not a X, this is a X."

Meh.....

Oh Seth whats happening man. Don't go downhill like the Simpsons did. Granted there were a few laughs in this episode. But we need more episodes like back in season 5 6 7 ... meg and Chris have been totally forgotten about. You gave them 1 line each just to justify there still in the show.. It's a Brian and Stevie show too much lately. As great as the characters are ..Don't overuse them... Better than the 1st 2 episodes of s17 but still a lot of improvement needed.

Pal Stewie

Warning: Spoilers
This episode did make me laugh at times, especially Stewie's over the top shenanigans to invade the party, but the storyline actually felt like something you would see on a Nickelodeon show, not an adult animated one.

So far this season has been a disaster.
