At the height of the AIDS epidemic, the rate of HIV infection among Asian-Pacific Islanders was the fastest growing among all ethnic groups, and yet there were no prevention and education programs targeting them in Massachusetts. MAP FOR HEALTH: 25 YEARS OF ASIAN PRIDE tells the inspirational story of a group of young Asian-Pacific Islanders who banded together in a grassroots effort to address a critical need in the Massachusetts Asian-Pacific Islander community during the AIDS crisis.
