Trivia

In one scene a high speed car chase goes past a road sign saying "de scholen zijn weer begonnen (the schools have started again)", these signs are intended too make drivers aware of possible children crossing. Because of this scene the Dutch Road Safety Organisation, who make these road signs, publicly distanced them self from the movie and emphasized that they did not authorize the use of their signs in the movie. Goofs

Volvo XC90 has standard 4 wheel drive, the scene with spinning front wheels trying to get out some muddy road seemed not very realistic for a 4WD SUV. See more »

Dutchmen can make real suspense, not only romcoms for the teenagers
28 November 2019 | by teunissen_mikeSee all my reviews

This is entertainment and art mixing up. I did not know this is possible in NL. Very well made highway triller, both technically and story subject. Last act taking it to a higher level. Real suspense (most 0f the time). Dutch actor Jeroen Spitzenberger in his best, multi levveled performance. Storie is a little simple. Not every plotpoint is credible but. But the Dutch language acting is much better than we are used too in NL. Even both children are remarkably convincing. Did not know this director. He should make more film.
