Father-to-be Alan is shocked to learn that he was born a sextuplet. With his newfound brother Russell riding shotgun, the duo sets out on a hilarious journey to reunite with their remaining long-lost siblings.
A loving (but immature) father with a larger-than-life personality is committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife but for Marlon family really always does come first - even if he's the biggest kid of all.
Jodi, the tallest girl in her high school, has always felt uncomfortable in her own skin. But after years of slouching, being made fun of, and avoiding attention at all costs, Jodi finally decides to find the confidence to stand tall.
A grounded, soulful, celebratory comedy about three mothers and their adult sons. The film explores the stage after motherhood, Otherhood, when you have to redefine your relationship with your children, friends, spouse, and most importantly, yourself.
The comedy SEXTUPLETS tells the story of Alan, an expectant father who grew up believing he was an only child. While searching for his birth mother, Alan comes face-to-face with a brother he never knew existed, Russell, who helps him uncover their secret status as sextuplets (all played by Marlon Wayans). Soon they begin a spontaneous road trip to track down their additional siblings, but not before Alan wonders whether exploring his roots was a huge mistake.Written by
Marlon Wayans is hilarious. He's a great representative of his legendary family. He can do drama(Requiem For A Dream) and lowbrow comedy. He does great standup. White Girls is a classic movie for some..50 Shades Of Black is a great level of Wayans silliness. A Haunted House is dumb fun. But this film disappoints me...
No doubt playing six different characters takes talent, but the jokes were falling flat 85% of the time. Still, this may be good for those who want lighthearted silliness and no raunchiness-it's treading on the edge of being family-friendly. Still, the jokes fell flat. I wanted to like this movie but it was ridiculous, and not in a good way.
If you watch this film, do it for love and support of Marlon; like me you'll be entertained by the work he puts in as the sextuplets. Still we all have to hope that he gets better movies to display his wacky comedy.
