Pretty solid. Peter has a kind heart.
25 November 2019 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

Peter has a coach load of Baptists heading for the donkey sanctuary, but has his mind on many things, an illegal immigrant, his mother's dementia and his daughter's new job.

Plaudits to the writers for pushing the boundaries, and adding some pretty taboo subjects into a comedy show. Some elements are working, some perhaps aren't quite hitting the mark. Tony Jones is a terrific actor, the master of understatement. For all of the sadness we've seen so far, there was one moment to raise a smile, when the kid gifts his donkey.

Kate Fahy who played Lyn was very good, a TV stereotype we've not seen since the eighties.
