Trivia

Bernardo (Matteo Molinari) makes twice an exaggerated "okay" sign to the camera. This is an homage (but mostly, he blatantly stole it) to singer-actor-director Adriano Celentano who, in a video of his 1972 song, "Prisencolinensinainciusol," makes that ridiculous "okay" after his wife Claudia Mori makes her solo. When Jason Ellsworth and Matthew Ellsworth saw the video, they laughed uncontrollably at the total lack of subtlety of the gesture, because it was so... "Bernardo" - hence, it's in the movie. Goofs

While Jason (Jason Ellsworth) hands Matthew (Matthew Ellsworth) all his gifts from Hollywood, in one wide shot his green backpack is on the couch. Throughout the sequence, he's carrying it on his back. See more »

It's beyond stupid
26 October 2020 | by casablancavicSee all my reviews

Yes, this is beyond stupid and of course, the effects are lousy and there is basically no budget.

Yes, there's no real story - but it's better than The Godfather.

Having watched the Godfather yesterday, I was bored beyond what I could handle. The Godfather is highly over-rated and having tried watching it 3 times, I never found it entertaining at all - however as poorly made as Bad CGI Sharks may be, it's still more entertaining than the most highly over-rated film of all time...

The Godfather.

So, yes this movie is stupid in so many way - but I enjoyed it more than many big name, Hollywood big budget movies.

This does not mean by any measure that there should be more films made like this...because there shouldn't be.

1 of this type of movie is enough - but to the writers, actors and director and everybody else involved in this mess - be proud that it's a better movie to me than The Godfather and make your next movie far better than this.

It's also too long to actively sit through sober and try to watch this unless you are tripping on some sort of drugs or totally drunk.
