Emotional Intensity
5 October 2018 | by mcdjmusicSee all my reviews

This movie pulls at the heart strings. Dealing with the delicate subject matter that is terminal cancer. Shot over 5 days the movie does carry well thanks to strong performances from Kieran Oreilly and Maura Foley. It uses the subject matter in a considered yet effective manner without ever trivializing it. With some extremely powerful scenes in particular those involving "evan" Kieran oreilly character. The movie does suffer from its short shooting schedule with some physical aspects in scenes not as credible visually as they may have been. However oreillys intense acting style brushes over these flaws. Foley melts the screen on occasion with her emotional performance. All round a solid emotional roller coaster. Bring the tissues. You've been warned closing scene is a choker!!!
