In his latest film, A Letter to a Friend in Gaza, Gitai pays homage to Albert Camus and explores the return to Palestinian villages while interjecting texts by Izhar Smilansky, Emile Habibi, Mahmoud Darwish, and Amira Hass.
Honestly a waste of an hour and a half of my life.
Pointless film, crap directing and too many people talking about mundane issues. Also, the film is entirely set in a single tram. The WHOLE HOUR AND A HALF.
Spare yourself the misery.
