This low budget drama which tries to put a game of football into life itself doesn't succeed in what it's trying. The main person is not over-acting like most of the others, but he's such an uninteresting an sad figur that you really don't care. That is the films main problem. You don't care, and then - if there were any excitement - it's gone. the coaches are overplaying so badly that you don't even believe them to be South american - nevertheless Italian. The film is grey, dull and uninteresting, though production values are OK.
