    Storyline

    Edit
    • Trivia
The bellhop informs Gus that the rodeo would be taking place the next day at "Reliant Stadium." This is a good attention to detail on the part of the show's writers, as the stadium was indeed going by that name when the episode is set (mid-00's). The multi-purpose stadium (and home of the NFL's Houston Texans) changed its name to NRG Stadium in 2014, a year after the conclusion of "Breaking Bad" and a year before the premiere of "Better Call Saul."
    • Goofs
When Gus Fring attends the Madrigal meeting in Houston, the bell hop recommends going to the rodeo at Reliant (now, NRG) Stadium while he is in town. This is reiterated during his later meeting with Peter Schuler and Lydia Rodarte-Quayle. This must a reference to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, or RodeoHouston, a co-tenant of the NRG Stadium (with the Houston Texans of the NFL) which moved its annual event from the Astrodome to this stadium in 2003. However, this event is held annually in March and the date on the marriage certificate in a previous scene establishes the date at that point as May 26, 2004. There is no indication that the Houston scenes are a flash-back to March 2004 or a flash-forward to March 2005, so the references to a rodeo at Reliant Stadium in late May/early June 2004 really have to be considered a goof.

Howard Hamlin: Jimmy, I'm sorry you're in pain.

Jimmy McGill: You're sorry. You're sorry? You killed my brother, and you say you're sorry? Let me tell you something. The job offer, it didn't upset me. It amused me.

      [Blows air]

Jimmy McGill: Big job at the illustrious HHM. A chance to play at the palace. Little old me?

      Howard Hamlin: I was trying...

Jimmy McGill: [Interrupts Howard] You have no idea what's going on! You're a teensy, tiny man in a teensy-weensy little bubble.

      Howard Hamlin: Oh, Jimmy.

Jimmy McGill: Oh, don't you fucking ''Oh, Jimmy'' me! You look down on me? You pity me?

      [Howard starts walking away]

Jimmy McGill: Walk away. That's right Howard. You know why I didn't take the job? Because it's too small! I don't care about it! It's nothing to me! It's a bacterium! I travel in worlds you can't even imagine! You can't conceive of what I'm capable of! I'm so far beyond you! I'm like a god in human clothing! Lighting bolts shoot from my fingertips!

    Lighting bolts from my fingertips!!!!!!!!!
Bob's performance is just amazing. When this show started I thought it was kind of slow but I kept watching it since I new the marvelous Saul was going to raise. I'm glad that I did it. I even love more this plot than BB. It only keeps improving every season. Give him an Emmy please!!!!
