However, this is a map of downtown Albuquerque and it's clear that he is pointing to 4th St NW as he moves it across the page. The numbered streets in downtown Albuquerque run north-south (as streets generally do, anywhere), so his finger is actually traveling north over the map as he moves it to the right, even as he says the Monte Carlo is "headed east".
