This episode really allows Russel T Davies' brilliant writing to shine through. Even with the admittedly slow beginning, episode 4 is captivating throughout. The extensive development, that has been given to our cast of characters so far, starts to pay off especially here. Cinematography and editing are a big improvement within this episode when compared to what we have seen previously, which is nice to see as that was one of the weaker elements of the series beforehand.
Prior to the release of this episode I was reluctant to recommending "Years and Years" however this has truly changed my mind and I would highly recommend this show to any fans of near future dramas.
