- Full frontal nudity of a woman for 2 seconds.
- Season 2 is very tame. There's a brief scene of male rear nudity and a brief scene of breasts.
- Benedict goes to a brothel. He is seen kissing two women.
- Season 1 has more sex scenes, many of which are quite graphic, with full female and partial male nudity. Season 2 has several graphic scenes towards the end. Scenes include thrusting, moaning and some oral sex as well.
Violence & Gore

- A man shoots pigeons lashing out his anger. It isn't depicted in a graphic way.
- Characters hit each other in the face in some scenes -- a woman when a man aggressively tries to grab her (perhaps intending rape), and an older woman hits a younger woman when it's discovered that the latter is pregnant. One character practices boxing; we see bare-knuckled matches frequently.
Profanity

- Cursing includes "bitches," "f--k," "f--king." Insults are used to shame women sexually: "loose," "ruined," while men who are sexually active are called a "rake.
