At around 55 minutes, the time at the bottom of the "Morning Mysteries" graphic bounces back and forth between 11:23 AM and 11:24 AM multiple times.

The events of the first movie took place in 2009. The events of second movie take place in 2017, eight years later. Suzy and Molly both say "seven years ago" when referring to what happened in 2009.

When the crew is stuck upstairs and David is labeling the white tapes with a red marker, the audience can clearly see that he is not actually writing. He even rotates the tapes toward the camera, accidentally confirming that he has not written anything.

Throughout the movie, as well as the first, Mitchell's last name is said to be "Cavanaugh." However, on the chalkboard inside of the hotel, his name is written "Mitchell Gallagher."
