Trivia

The mechanic refers to the car as being sold by "The Winsome Welshmen", to which DI Thursday adds, "Dudley and Dunstan". This is a reference to the dodgy second hand car dealers in School for Scoundrels (1960) See more »

Goofs

At just over 26 minutes in, the evening of July 17, the Sun is shown low in the sky over Oxford with the Moon to its right. The convexity of the crescent is facing *away* from the Sun, not something that can ever happen. See more »

What has happened to what was a great show?
15 July 2019 | by hoglover1951See all my reviews

I see that whoever is writing the script for the series now has spent way too much time under the influence of American TV series. This was a great series filled with compassionate people and well written scripts. Now it's butchered with backstabbing, double crossing sniveling people. Why in the world would you think this is what people want to see??? Give me old series!
