RABBITS - Tragically Beautiful
25 October 2020 | by BlackbirdFilmFestSee all my reviews

In this short film, director / writer Riley Sugars tells the quasi-true story of a father and son at a crossroad; with the pressures of life pulling them in very different directions. In classic form, Sugars brilliantly weaves this complex tale together, paying close attention to the subtle, yet relatable truth inherent in all father/son relationships as family go their separate ways. With PHENOMENAL performances by key cast members Des Flanagan (Henry) and Stavros Psoras (George), Rabbits is a wonderfully tragic short film with outstanding cinematography, writing and direction. It's no wonder it WON the Audience Choice Award at the 2020 Blackbird Film Festival!
