90s Nostalgia served to the Gen Z crowd

The casting, set design & costuming are perfect.

The acting is believable.

The weakness in this show will be that a few episodes tried to seem woke which will make it seem dated in a few years (think: the last season of gilmore girls). I'm not sure this is the show for that. The actress who plays Dawn is amazing!! , however the character comes off as a bit self righteous when teaching the girls about things... She explains to them that she knows more because that's "how it is" in California. Um k. New England has the most educated people in the world, and Stacey is a New Yorker.

As a huge bsc fan I was actually surprised how close they got to the spirit of the books. Good work all!
