The Dragon Prince (2018)
In the magical land of Xadia, magic comes from six primal sources: the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Sky, the Earth and the Ocean. But when human mages create a seventh kind of magic, Dark Magic - they begin capturing and harvesting the unique magical creatures they need as ingredients. This sparks a catastrophic war between Xadia and the Human Kingdoms. Three kids from opposite sides of the conflict - two human princes, and the elven assassin who was sent to kill them - discover a secret that could change everything. They decide to join forces and go on an epic journey that may be their only hope of ending the war, and restoring peace to both their worlds.

      Avatar: The Last Airbender references: While traveling through the Midnight Desert, Callum, voiced by Jack De Sena, says "This looks familiar.... boomerang?" This is a tribute to the boomerang-wielding character Sokka from Avatar: The Last Airbender, who was also voiced by Jack De Sena. There is also a reference in the first episode, when Claudia is reading a book while walking across a courtyard. The book is called 'Love Amongst the Dragons', the same name as the play mentioned by Zuko in the season three episode The Ember Island Players(2008).

    Loved this series
    I absolutely loved this series. Wish it was longer but a lot developed in the 9 episodes. I would've given a 10 but the animation is a bit off. It seems like a really cheap and lazy form of animation. It felt like i was watching a bunch of stills from a book with no movement. Not a fan of outlining everything. Despite this which is just a personal preference i loved the show. Good character development and great story. Very similiar to Avatar the last airbender, which is still one of the best cartoons ever. Callum reminds me a lot like Sokka. Overall worth watching cant wait for season 2.
