A representative for Stx did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Bautista's My Spy Gets Delayed Until 2020
Dave Bautista's My Spy has been pushed back to 2020. No official release date has been announced, but Stx Entertainment will more than likely reveal the new date soon. Bautista is currently gearing up for the release of his new movie Stuber, which he stars in opposite Kumail Nanjiani. The action comedy officially opens tomorrow, July 12th and many people were anticipating to see My Spy next month. However, it looks like the studio has other plans for the project at the moment.

The My Spy release date change news comes from insiders within Stx Entertainment, who wish to remain anonymous. The same sources say that the release date change has nothing to do with the studio's confidence in the comedy. Stx reportedly has every intention of putting out My Spy, but just not right now. It could possibly be because of the release date of Stuber, which is also a comedy starring Dave Bautista,

Amazon’s Awards Hopeful ‘The Report’ Hitting Prime Two Weeks After Theatrical Debut

Amazon’s Awards Hopeful ‘The Report’ Hitting Prime Two Weeks After Theatrical Debut
Amazon Studios’ “The Report,” a political thriller starring Adam Driver and Annette Bening, will have a two-week exclusive run in theaters starting Sept. 27 before landing on Amazon Prime Video on Oct. 11.

Amazon intends to continue rolling out the film in theaters even after its release on Prime as the studio continues to test the waters with various release strategies. The condensed window is surprising given that Amazon Studios is the only digital player that has displayed zero qualms about giving American movie theater owners a full 90-day exclusive for films before releasing them on their own streaming service. What’s more, “The Report” is perhaps the most commercially viable film Amazon bought on their Sundance shopping spree this year, thanks to its dramatic true story and awards potential.

Directed by Scott Z, “The Report” chronicles a Senate staffer who investigates the CIA’s methods of torture, from water-boarding to sleep and sensory deprivation.

Sienna Miller Explains Why She Finally Tackled a Lead Role After Acting For 20 Years

Sienna Miller Explains Why She Finally Tackled a Lead Role After Acting For 20 Years
Jake Scott’s heartbreaking drama “American Woman,” about a woman who raises her young grandson after her daughter goes missing, is a smart and progressive film rooted in the female experience. More than that, it stars Sienna Miller as the eponymous American woman, marking the first lead role for the actress in a 20-year career.

Miller is best known to American audiences for often playing secondary “wife” roles in films like “The Lost City of Z” and “American Sniper,” and while she’s steadily worked on the big screen for the last two decades, she’s never been given the chance to take on such a substantial role. While the theater world has offered better opportunities – with major turns in “Cabaret” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” – movies have often cast her as a pretty face or a reliable female shoulder to cry on.

“I’ve never carried a film,

Chadwick Boseman Set To Play The African Samurai Yasuke in Upcoming Film

A couple weeks ago we learned that the awesome story of the only African Samurai in history in feudal Japan was being made into a movie. The warrior’s name is Yasuke, which will be the title of the film, and he will be played by Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther).

Boseman taking on the role of Yasuke seems like the perfect choice. He’s a great actor and he was the first actor to pop in my head when the project was first announced. There’s no doubt he’ll be able to pull it off and deliver a great performance. The actor had this to say in a statement:

“The legend of Yasuke is one of history’s best kept secrets, the only person of non-Asian origin to become a Samurai. That’s not just an action movie, that’s a cultural event, an exchange, and I am excited to be part of it.

Avengers: Endgame Is the Russo Brothers' Final McU Movie, But That Could Change

Avengers: Endgame Is the Russo Brothers' Final McU Movie, But That Could Change
Avengers: Endgame will mark the end of the road for the Russo Brothers and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At least for now. Joe and Anthony Russo are going to take a well-deserved break from the superhero genre for a bit and don't have any further plans to work with Marvel Studios at this time, though that could change in the future. The directing duo have been dedicating a huge chunk of their lives for the past five years to the McU, beginning with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

When asked about coming back for some more McU madness after Avengers: Endgame, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo believe it's time for a rest. The last two years have been a very busy time for the directors with Infinity War and Endgame, often having overlapping productions and marathon editing sessions with the sporadic reshoots thrown in too. Anthony Russo had this to say about their McU future.

21 Bridges Trailer Reunites Chadwick Boseman and the Russo Brothers

Stx has released the first trailer for 21 Bridges. This is a movie that may not be on a lot of people's radar just yet, but it will be. It features Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman in the lead role reuniting him with Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who serve as producers in what looks like an action-packed cop thriller. What's not to like? Especially considering the first trailer sets up a movie that looks like it could be extremely entertaining.

The trailer kicks off with a big, emotional beat right off the bat that helps set up the Chadwick Boseman character and his motivations. We then get to the meat of the whole thing after a very deadly crime goes south. It's then up to Boseman to stop these criminals and he comes up with a rather bold play to keep them from escaping; literally close down
