Working with the public can be a strenuous task. These four retail workers come home for a surprisingly therapeutic session about their long, difficult day - until one arrives home and takes it all comically to a whole new level.
Veronica, a punk rock loving Aussie who works in a record store, arrives home first. Abby, the American girly girl gets home not long after. Both are clearly exhausted and worn out. Veronica confides in Abby about her day at work and a mistake that she made, and in return, Abby tells her some ludicrous stories to make her feel better. It's not long after that well spoken Glasgow girl, Sam, arrives home with alcoholic beverages to share around. She admits that she's been reported for bullying a member of staff and is now being investigated. The three girls go on to discuss how working with the public makes them feel, until Dean bursts through the door. Completely wasted from alcoholic influence, he can barely stand upright. It comes to light that he's been drinking while working - in the bar. After the girls finally get him to bed, they rest back on the couch and settle into their beers, preparing to do it all over again the next day.Written by
Katy was never supposed to play all four characters! It was brought up as a joke by co-director of Blue Cloth Productions, Andy who, after Katy dismissed the idea, said "you'd never pull it off anyway". That was enough for her to dive in head first. See more »
