I praise this show all the time, I love it and the development the acting the music and the world is all wonderful. There are however two things I dislike. The politics is a bit annoying, and then we have this asian girl who got involved in the first episode and I have no idea why we are still following her around. Her story is pointless, her acting is abysmal, and everything goes down the drain every time the story is about her. This entire episode is about her and... ouhm... I dunno, something.

The worst character on TV played by the only actress on the show who clearly cannot act get a full episode when the show is finally getting great... What the...

Since everything else an cinematography is still topnotch I will give this episode a 2/10, but this was awful. Boring, awful, horrible badly acted nonsense. What does this have to do with anything? What is the point of this weird side quest? If there was a third artifact and this horrible actress was out looking for it I could understand it, but what is this? Why are this filmed? Who thought this belongs on this show?

This was a complete disaster for this show and whomever thought this Kwan side character and pointless side quest was a good idea need to be fired immediately. Complete gibberish and absolute pointless.

2/10 and let us all pretend this episode does not exist.

Thank goodness the writers heard us and have us the highly demanded Kwan Ha episode...

Oh wait... literally the most pointless character in this show.

I'm sure I will get a lot of hate for this review but... what a waste. We left last weeks episode at such an interesting moment... And now we get this snooze-fest forgettable episode that focuses on the least important side characters. (The should CTRL-ALT-DLT the entire Madrigal storyline of this show. Dull and poorly written)

I hate when shows do this - they dedicate an entire episode to a side character as a filler to avoid moving the main story long - and, as such, we don't get any forward movement in the main episode.

No character on this show is deserving of an entire episode that takes away from Master Chief... HOWEVER... if it was necessary then literally every Spartan, Dr. Keyes ... any of the humans... heck even the covenant characters would be more interesting than a Kwan Ha episode.

Really Kwan and Soren are the two least interesting characters to me.

If anybody from Paramount + reads this... what is the point of doing "premium" shows that have limited episodes and higher budgets... if you're going to do filler like this? 8-10 episodes should be nothing but meat from the main storyline.

You can completely skip that one

Let's be honest, nobody cares about her, I hoped her arc would end being left in that space station until whatever, but no we have this useless arc with boring setting and boring characters... Skip skip skip...

A grotesque sideshow

Without doubt the worst episode, an unnecessary Kwan/Soren-066 centric story which detracts severely from the ethos of Halo. A massive disappointment following the superb previous edition. This whole plotline should have been deleted, it adds too much extraneous nonsense into the universe that nobody wants or needs.

To add insult to injury, it is poorly executed even on its own terms. It boasts an excessively villany villain, a Mary Sue and a new faction introducing ill-fitting capabilities - all tied together with a wafer-thin story, clumsy dialogue and exposition-dump narration.

All around, an abomination.

Unfortunately, the writers thought that a rude, brash, entitled, angry, petulant and generally vile character wouldf it into this series, instead of just being awful, annoying and irritating.

And they decided to give us an entire episode that is supposed to be some kind of character development arc, but in reality is just said awful and generally repulsive person being awful and repulsive but now with extra plot armour.

This is a godawful series.

I want Master Chief and Cortana! Not Kwon! I'M NOT HAPPY!

I wish I could have gone back and skipped this episode because it was a waste of 50 minutes of my time. I first thought about skipping it when I first saw Kwon in the beginning of it but thought it would show the Master Chief at some point - BUT NO! This character, Kwon, has nothing to do with the Master Chief nor anything I care about, and it's ALL ABOUT HER! This storyline is the WORST thing about this show so far for me. Just get rid of this character, please! I am actually really frustrated and mad about this episode. No storyline progression - at least none about the one I care about - and we see nothing that is relevant to the Master Chief. Total waste of an episode.

I feel insulted

Holy mother of the Master Chief. How can this be so bad, how? How? How?. The writers are literally insulting my intelligence, especially with this epsiode. AHHHHHHHHH i cant express myself how bad this is, i dont want to think about it, i dont want to list why and how it is bad. Make it end, make it stop. Please release me from this pain.

Lets talk about Kwan. She survived the attack in the first episode and was rewarded by the military trying to kill her. But what my brother and I cannot figure out is why they wanted her dead? Because she saw an alien? So did millions of other humans.

What I am getting to is that Kwan has completely unnatural and forced drama. It is not interesting. It is only a checkbox being marked off. And This episode was entire filler...i think cause like I said I aint watching "this"

Nobody cares about these plot lines

Why do I have to watch this when I actually want to watch HALO?

The actors are good, no doubt, but these two plot lines (girl and pirate) are incredibly boring and nobody cares about them.

The more of these two plot lines they put into HALO the less people will watch it, I guarantee that.

Story Arc Sucks

Kwan Ha sucks as a character. Her story is pointless. This episode is the worst, after such an awesome 6th episode where viewers didn't have to put up with the dumb "rebellion on Madrigal" story, here we are back at it wasting an episode. Hopefully, next week is better.

Totally unnecessary plot direction, a digression from the main story just after it became watchable in the last episode... Though, this is a waste of time from the very start, TBH... One of the worst episodes in the series that wasn't so great to begin with, mainly due to total disrespect for the fanbase who made the real Halo so popular to begin with...

Halo, a Kwan Ha Story

An entire episode with basically no master chief in it. I did call it from episode 1 that Kwan Ha was the main character and now i am proven right. An angry, spoiled, annoying and useless kid somehow has what her General father did not (his words in this episode) and can now even use an UNSC rifle, yes, the same rifle master chief uses which is a certain bet weighs more than she could possibly lift (at least to use it properly). She also commands Sorren and is smarter than him I for one will be glad to see Paramount+ get erased soon, such shows have nothing to offer.

Madrigal Will Be Your Tomb

The Madrigal subplot is a cautionary tale to would be screenwriters on how to not add new characters to existing lore.

I'll start with some of the dialogue. Hearing Kwan say things like "Also Vinsher...my dad hated you!" Oh Burn!

How about "If we're going to fight, we fight on my terms", Barf!

Another example is Vinsher laying eyes on the covenant for presumably the first time and his only reaction is "So these are the aliens...ugly bast****". Burn Gorman's performance reminds me of a villain I would see on some CW show. Who signed off on this script?

The inconsistent visual effects were very distracting. Examples like Vinsher being driven in the desert, the flames turning into water and about every backdrop make Halo appear as a low-grade sci-fi channel production. Not the ten million per episode budget that has been advertised to the public.

Nothing works in inheritance. The costume design, the subplot involving Soren's "partner", the lack of tension and the least intimidating villain I've seen since the premiere of Batwoman.

The plasma grenade being used on one of Vinsher's goons made me chuckle, the final explosion and watching Soren dispatch a few low IQ baddies is an okay time in my book. Unfortunately, a lot of time was wasted before reaching any entertainment Inheritance provides. Hopefully Halo's showrunners and screenwriting team learn from the haphazardly placed filler episode that is Inheritance.

It's not good for people mentally to continually be rooting for Kwan to die. Kill her off and be done. This episode was inexcusable. She is a terrible character and person full of contradictions every time she opens her mouth to speak.

Imagine how much better (and shorter) this show would have been if kwan ha would have died in the first episode, i rest my case.

BTW what kind of "vault" was that? They even showed how stupid it was by depicting how the explosion's flames got inside that vault. Yeah those 2 should be dead.

I fast forwarded through most of the episode and I still feel like I wasted too much time on this episode.

I've honestly liked the show up until this episode. I never saw the point of including Kwan after the first episode, everything her character has done has seemed pointless. The only saving grace was she was around a cool character in 66 and her scenes were relatively short. That made this episode that much worse by spending all the time on her.

I just hope the creators listen to the people with problems with her. This isn't a "boys not liking 'strong' women" scenario. There are tons of strong women in this show who are incredibly interesting and who deserve much more screen time than Kwan Ha. The show would be in a much better place if the character and this rebellion angle just ended full stop. All they accomplished here was making something that felt like a filler episode in a short first season. To take from another property "This in not the way."

I'm not sure what this was

There can be absolutely no spoilers in this episode as it appears to be nothing but complete filler. The single worst episode so far and will take some beating. It's pretty clear they ran out of money and forgot the main character of the show should be in it.

What a piece of crap episode this was. Boring Kwan stuff.

I still don't know what the heck Kwan has to do with this show, but I'm sure at some point she will have hidden powers that save the universe or something. She keeps talking about taking on her enemies all by herself with zero training and being like 12 years old and maybe 80 pounds. Seriously, anytime she is on screen takes away from other characters that we do care about. I love how this little girl with no training or anything managed to taser Soren, a trained soldier that use to serve with Master Chief. Yeah right.

This episode was a complete waste of time. Very sad considering we just had a couple episodes that were pretty good.

This show is all over the place. The visuals are the only thing that are consistently good with this show. The story is a flip of a coin. Might be good, or might suck. So far there has only been like 2 or 3 good episodes out of 7.

Let's hope they get their crap together. Kill Kwan please.

Not Halo

I've been avoiding this new character but they keep forcing it in this show. This episode had nothing to do with Halo, it was just boring. I recommend completely avoiding this episode.

Worthless filler

Unlike some who were continuesly negative of this show I quite liked it.

I was honestly looking forward more and more to each episode. Untill this monster. We're finally well into the main story and now we get some sidestory quest with horrible acting and cringeworthy scenes.

Honestly I never really got these types of episodes, the so called "fillers". Really good way to lose an audience halfway through a season. Besides one key fact that is probably gonna matter for the whole story this episode could have been skipped.

This was a hard watch. I don't care about these characters or Madrigal. Kwan Ha is so unlikable, I want to get back to the other characters and the plot at large.

At all. I may not agree with everything that's been done with this show, but it's been good at times. However, this entire Kwan sideshow: what is the point exactly? That they spent money on this utterly pointless, boring crap is mind boggling to me. The only thing that my brain registers when I see this character is "Can she just die already?". Enough is enough. Ditch this stupid annoying character, stop spending money on this utterly irrelevant time wasting sideshow, and focus on the stuff that's been done right. If Kwan spends more than 2 minutes on screen next season, I won't be watching it.

Filler episode

So halo now has, nomadic desert witches, hallucinogenic water/fuel and thank God the end of the main revenge plot of Kwan. Best parts in this episode is when Kwan gets repeatedly merked by her vision of master chief and the ending fight. Other wise show would get a 1.
