Looney Tunes Cartoons

Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and many other classic Looney Tunes characters have all new misadventures in this series inspired by their classic shorts. Most episodes consist of two full shorts and a brief mid-episode vignette.

Trivia

The music that plays over the closing credits is "What's Up, Doc?" Composed by legendary music director Carl Stalling, this was the opening musical cue for dozens of Bugs Bunny cartoons in the early 1950s. As such, Carl Stalling is the one and only person to be credited in both the original classic Looney Tunes shorts and this revival series. See more »

This is a fun, successful continuation of the originals.

Pete Browngardt's "Looney Tunes Cartoons" is fun, amusing, and ultimately a step in the right direction. The art, animation, voice acting, music, characterization, and stories capture the spirit and charm of the originals. The gags and comedic execution are hit and miss, but when everything clicks, it's very funny. This is a great return to form, but this is not as mindblowing, unique, or as funny as Paul Rudish's Mickey Mouse Shorts from this past decade. The best episodes so far are "Curse of the Monkeybird", "Big League Beast", "Firehouse Frenzy", "Pool Bunny", "Plumber's Quack" and "Wet Cement". Think of this as a continuation of the cartoons of the 40's, not a reinvention. It guarantees quality, but it lacks a certain "distinction" to make it truly unique on it's own. Overall, I highly recommend for some great, wholesome fun.
