Proven Innocent was filmed in a real, active Chicago prison that houses men and women. Everyone entering the prison to film had their ID confiscated by the gate guards and was escorted everywhere. If you were separated from the group, you were presumed an active inmate and were detained until your identity was called into the gate and your ID was matched. See more
