Andrea refers to herself as the "Dowager Warren." A dowager is a widow whose title came from her husband and whose daughter-in-law now holds it as the wife of the current nobleman. This allows the widow to retain the dignity of a title she has kept throughout her married life but prevents two living women from having the same title.
