Four aged motion-picture veterans, who share a country estate, are visited by two underhanded real-estate developers who seek to make them homeless. But, though they are old, they still have their storytelling skills intact.

A group of four old friends conformed by a film director, a film writer, an actress and her husband share a big house in the country. Their coexistence is menaced by a young couple who resourcefully and deceitfully seek to get them to sell the house to develop a real estate project of their own.

For 40 years, Mara (Borges), a retired actress from the golden age of Argentine cinema, has shared a remote country mansion with her estranged husband, a retired screenwriter and an elderly film director. They will do anything to preserve the world they created for themselves. However, their coexistence is threatened by two young hustlers who want them to sell the house to develop a real estate project of their own.
