Gordon assembles an unlikely team to protect Gotham from Eduardo Dorrance and his Delta Force. Just as Lee Thompkins resurfaces, Barbara reveals shocking news that will change Gordon's life forever. Meanwhile, Selina and Penguin team up to outsmart fellow villain Magpie.
We are now half way through the season and I think the pace of the story is perfect, it feels like a perfect length. Today's episode was great and the showdown with Gordon and Eduardo was executed nicely, focusing on character development instead of an epic fight sequence. How Bruce worked into the plan was great as we got to see him acting more as Batman instead of a edgy kid, no hate towards the actor. The sub plot with Penguin and Selina was unnecessary and lacked a purpose except for some dialogue and seeing them team up.
I was excited to see Lee Thompkins again but I haven't missed her that much thanks to the writing team making Barbara likeable again, for the first time since season 2. I'm liking her story arc for this season, feels like a human again. Next week's episode looks to be great as with what they teased at the end.
