Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her "safely" behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest's holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target--the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.Written by

This movie is a sequel to Annabelle: Creation (2017) and Annabelle (2014). In terms of the Conjuring Universe, it can be considered a midquel, which is a movie set between the events of previously released movies in a series. More specifically, it is an intraquel, which is a movie taking place completely within the time span of one previous movie (an interquel, by contrast, takes place between the events of two previous movies). Annabelle Comes Home opens with and continues the opening scene of The Conjuring (2013); the rest of the movie picks up a year later, occurring two years before the main plot of The Conjuring (which depicted the Rhode Island incident). Although interquels such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) and Captain Marvel (2019) are getting more common, intraquels remain quite rare in any genre. Daniela stopped knocking on the front door as soon as Mary Ellen and Judy realized that there was someone at the door. After Mary Ellen opens the front door to see nobody there, Daniela appears, claiming to have been knocking on the front door for 10 minutes and that she entered the house through the back door, meaning that Daniela must have ran incredibly quickly from the front to the back door in the time she supposedly stopped knocking to when Mary Ellen checks the front door. This is coming from a person who doesn't watch horror movies because I'm scared but also cuz I just don't care for the genre much. But this movie was just a honest waste of time and money in my opinion. The pace of the movie was quite slow during the times it led to the jump scares; which were also very mediocre. The character "Daniella" was unbearable to watch. As well as the ending was so stupidly abrupt. It was comparable to the "when she woke up she realized it was all just a dream" scenario. You would expect the characters involved in this movie to be genuinely traumatized after such an event, but no they all were happy as if nothing happened. Also how are people rating this 10/10, do u have any taste in film? Anyways, Smh I just want my money back lmao.
