Stop being so clever, Gumball!

This is probably one of the best episodes ever made. There was a previous one called "The Girlfriend" which seemed to make fun of shipping or pairing characters together romantically. I thought that was the worst episode of the series and everyone seems to agree with me. I especially love the different styles of animation. The plot is that Sarah finds a magic Cartoon Network book that makes her fanfiction come to life. This character had already been used to make fun of fanfiction and shipping but not as well as this.

We even get some great references to gay relationships. I'm so glad that this show can do that! Weird, I thought Ben didn't mind Carrie being paired with Gumball. I love how this show just keeps getting bigger, better, funnier, and more epic. Right off the bat, we get this great "Child's Play" joke. May this style of comedy live on forever! ****
