Fernando tells him to put his cell phone away because the characters would not have them because it was the "80's" but the film takes place in this 1940s and was released in the 1980s. See more »

When they guys are waiting for Abby to show up in front of the theater, Fernando gets mad at Josh for using a cellphone and says "Nobody uses cellphones in A Christmas Story, it's 1983!" The story line of A Christmas Story is actually the 1940s, the movie was simply released in 1983. See more »

It's a holiday movie, don't expect too much . It's wachable. Poor acting dough... But I liked the idea with the calendar, I could use that one in real life... :) It's worth waching if you don't expect too much from a Christmas movie.
